Excellent game, one of those you wished didn't end!
Probablement un des jeux les plus mystérieux. L'histoire prend vite !
Lucas Pope is a genius. This game has it all: Beautiful art that stands out. A gorgeous soundtrack. Honestly brutally underrated Voice Acting. And such clever puzzle design that never holds your hand yet has a clear direction.
The story of the Return of the Obra Dinn is told in such an original, interesting style that it invested me its own completely unique way. Its so cool how much potential video games have as a tool to tell stories, and engage readers in a way that isn't otherwise possible. I've heard in trying to learn art, to really depict something realistically, your supposed to try to forget your preconceived notion of what a line or a shape needs to look like. When you see an object, like a leaf, its rarely a perfect leaf shape in nature, from your perspective. You should try to draw the real shape of that leaf for just how you see it. I think many games tend to tell their stories with a "preconceived leaf shape". Like they're telling the story in the way they think they should in a game. Not thinking outside the box, or pushing any limits. Return of the Obra Dinn does an excellent job of going it's own way. Telling the story they wanted to tell, and using the format of a game to do it in a way no one could. This is one of those "true leaf shape" games. Does that leaf analogy thing make sense? Eh, ♥♥♥♥ you it doesnt matter this is a steam review. This game is really good you should probably play it sometime when you're ready.
Very fun and a good time working through the puzzles, a few were a bit tough, but very good overall.
