Retro Rewind - Video Store Simulator

If you like organizing and collecting awesome things, while also running a store. This game is perfect, its so much fun. I have been playing it quite alot, and hopefuly ill be able to expand soon.

Fun management sim, especially for someone who worked at a Hollywood Video as their first job. Only a few instances where things got buggy, but never anything that interfered with the game. Overall, all actions felt great. Sound effects were fun and really added to the vibe of the game. I haven't even started customizing the store all that much yet, but feel like there is quite a bit of opportunity there as the build mechanics work very well. Would be great to be able to talk to the worker with tapes in your hand, as you can interact with everything else like this. Also, would be great to allow the scroll wheel to dynamically shift back and forth between tapes in your hands, as either motion only continues to cycle through them the same direction.

I got this game in May 2026 and loved it so much! I played it again in Aug 2026 and still loved it! I am looking forward to the next update to start all over again! Note to the makers of this game: I am super grateful for a few things: - when I check in movies from the dropbox - the next ones that pop out are same genre - I can see the ! and * from all over the store - the back alley seller is a fun part - I love the addition of being able to repair tapes (hilarious that we basically cut out the middle) - I like that the food/drinks at checkout don't take too long so they aren't annoying - I have loved all the New Release movies - I love all the different things that happen on calendar, encouraging diff genres Suggestions: - I would love to have an even bigger store (especially with the next update) - I would like the option to make my employees stop charging fees - I would like more variety in decorations - i keep saving the new release stand posters and I use some in my store but most are on shelves because I don't have a lot of room in store for them. Could they maybe have a clip to hang from the ceiling too? Thanks so much for one of my favorite games! (My time in game isn't accurate....I left it running for days so I could play it in between working.)

I don't know what it is about this game but I have been playing it a lot the past few days. I don't know if it's the nostalgia of the atmosphere of a video store or the management simulator aspect of this game but I love it. The gameplay is simple so I enjoy playing it while doing other things. I would recommend this game to anyone who loves management games and wants a bit of nostalgia in their life.
