Retro Rewind - Video Store Simulator

Damn, 24 hours, its good, quite good, music is catchy and 10/10 BGM. The vibes are there, but are not over abundant, the goofiness of the characters is cute and doesn't get the way of the game. The movie names alone make the game a 10/10. The game obviously has had a lot of love and care given and it shows. The only things I'd say are that I hope maybe a crate or bigger bags are in the works and maybe a little more staff. BUT, it honestly is a wonderfully put together game and definitely is "Absolute Cinema" (dunno if that meme is still relevant, but here we are)

I normally don't like simulation games where you have to do repetitive tasks, but the creators of this game really managed to create a non repetitive experience! Also, the feeling of building up a movie collection is so much better than running a boring grocery store. After a while, you actually start to remember the movies in your collection. You can also install mods that swap out the fake movies with real ones from that time period! It's so cool to have a limited edition of Terminator in your collection.

A fun game that satisfies the memories of the video rental store experience of yesteryear. Progressive acheivements, progress you can feel. This is quite grindy, and feel they should enable more employees sooner as it's quite the QoL upgrade once you get it. It's locked until Level 20 tho, maybe 2/3s of the way into the game. Overall tho, a nice casual experience.

Great game. Really brings you back to the BlockBuster/Hollywood Video Era! Highly recommend for a nostalgic trip down memory lane.

As a former video store employee the rental return box sound is so accurate. I wish this was multiplayer ngl but it's a fun game!
