Restore Your Island

Not going to lie - it's stupidly cathartic to clear up the clutter and chaos on this island instead of doing the dishes at home. Nice touches in the gameplay as well - enough of an upgrade path to keep from being too repetitive but also relaxing to play.

The first island is very enjoyable. There is a scene at the beginning that makes me laugh every time. The island is fun to restore and relaxing to play. It's not a hard game, just a fun little one that is very enjoyable. I love getting to choose my dog and cat. If I have any complaints, it would be about the second island. It's a much rougher looking island which is fine but I missed restoring all the plants. Also there are several bugs that make it much more difficult to play. However, it's worth the buy just for the first island. I'm hoping they keep working on the second island since it only just came out and that it will get better. Overall, a very fun enjoyable little game that is a relaxing gem.

If you like cleaning games, you're going to like this. However, the game is still in early stages, the developers have a pretty ambitious roadmap ahead of them. It still has a bunch of performance issues, but it is playable and fun. Fingers crossed it doesn't get abandoned but actually gets all the updates it is supposed to.

This game is such a unique gem, I'm so glad I found it! It's satisfying and really scratches the cleaning/sorting itch. It's very cute, the dog and cat companions are so fluffy and adorable. There are genuinely sweet moments with the animals and it's so fun to see them slowly come back to the beach. It's also just really funny. It has such an odd sense of humor that gives it so much personality!! There are so many moments while playing this otherwise serene and relaxing game that I have just burst into laughter and (and even a few screams from the scary doll). I like that I never know what to expect from this game, like just discovering all the little details is so fun. I hope the devs keep adding new levels, and keep up the good work!!!

The game has intenssive graphic demands despite meeting the requirements. No tutorials, no guidance. Most OCD games I've played offer a few accessibility options but to no avail the game is too boring as well.

This game is fun if you like cleaning simulator games. The price is decent too. It starts off a bit slow like these games usually do, but the upgrades really have impact, especially the later ones. The soundtrack from the cassette tapes you find is pretty good and has variety. Since its in the form of a walkman, you can have it off completely if you want. The second island is in some ways a bit more bland than the first one, but the secrets on it are pretty cool. One of them is dead useful even. I can't wait to see what they do for the third island, which they are working on at the time of this review.
