About

Set 15 years before A Plague Tale: Requiem, play as Sophia, a fierce young plunderer, on the run but determined to uncover the secrets of her past. Dive into an original story blending combat, myth and fate with a brand new take in the universe of A Plague Tale.
Sophia’s journey leads to the Minotaur' Island, where she faces deadly trials, navigates treacherous trails, solves puzzles, all while fighting and staying one step ahead of the army chasing her. But the true challenge awaits, as the terrifying creature hidden behind the myth will soon resonate with her…

Sophia is a skilled, agile, and strong-willed fighter who engages in dynamic and violent melee combat. Followed by many enemies, each drawn to the Island to reclaim a mysterious treasure, you must navigate a treacherous maze. Rely on your agility, tricks and sharp reflexes to outsmart enemies, perfect your parries, and unleash powerful strikes to survive deadly encounters.

Shift between the Middle Age of Sophia and ancient Minoan times, where echoes of the past shape the battles of the present. Unfold a new story in the universe of A Plague Tale, through the entwined destinies of two heroes linked by fate and the Macula’s mysterious legacy.

Guided by the knowledge safeguarded in your notebook, follow in your crew’s footsteps to explore a richly detailed world, unravel its secrets, and face deadly trials. Use a stolen Minoan sphere to solve ingenious puzzles by manipulating light - a force woven by Daedalus into the island’s very heart.

It is said that only a few came back from the island. Lurking in the shadows lives a restless presence. It follows you around, seemingly knowing your every move, as it hunts through the island’s depths.
Every step is a risk. Every pause, a potential end. You can’t stop, only hide, outsmart, and push forward. Can you survive each trial and every step or will you join those who never came back?

Just finished my first playthrough, 100/10, music is epic, the story is so well written and the character develpoment for Sofia is impecable. Graphics as always nevr disappoint and the acting is top notch
Long Review :l
This is the third game in the "A Plague Tale series", and honestly, I loved the first two, and I am not disappointed by the third game. I had to do it justice and experience it too. First, the game is absolutely beautiful. The graphics are stunning—the scenery, the characters, everything is just captivating and made me love the world even more. The scenery is absolutely stunning. From the detailed environments and beautiful landscapes to the lighting and small details scattered throughout the world, there were moments where I genuinely just stopped to admire the view. The game can make even its darkest and most unsettling locations look strangely beautiful, which perfectly fits the atmosphere of A Plague Tale. The main character Sophia's design is out of this world. Her hair, jewelry, clothing, and henna all complement each other beautifully while reflecting the life she has lived. Her appearance feels influenced by the different cultures she encountered through years of travelling and plundering, almost as if she carries pieces of her journey with her. Her confident and capable appearance also fits her personality perfectly, while still allowing the more human and emotional side of her character to shine through. She laughs, and She cries, her voice actress must've done overtime for this xD The gameplay is awesome. Yes, there is no Metal Gear level stealth, but stealth is mainly used to avoid certain enemies rather than being the entire focus of the game. Combat is okay. It's not genre-defining, but it holds up well, especially since the game makes it clear that Sophia is a capable person who knows how to handle herself. These are the fundamentals overall, but what captivated me the most was the raw emotion each character displays. The game does not hold back in reminding me that this is a ( Plague Tale game ). You get hit with that classic combo of: Beautifully made characters living in an extremely grim world. Not everyone gets a happy ending. Everyone is hurt, and everyone has a story to tell. This is EXACTLY why I highly recommend anyone with decent hardware to experience this masterpiece. (DON'T WORRY, THERE ARE NO SPOILERS OR HINTS ABOUT THE LAST TWO GAMES)
A great story and a worthy edition to the Plague Tale series... even though I got Sophia killed more times than I'd like to admit! ; )
This game is fantastic. It is a really good prequel for the 2 plague tale games released prior. I really loved it.
Resonance is a solid game overall. There's gripping story, likeable characters and gorgeous graphics (well optimized!). Gameplay-wise it trades Plague Tale's sneaking for more open combat - a welcome refresher. I just wish there was more game to it - moment to moment platforming, exploration and action are satisfying, but Asobo is dead set to tell the story first and foremost. As such levels are VERY linear and include frequent cutscenes in between.
Plague Tale forever <3
Banger!!
Great narrative that keeps you wanting to know more! Please remember to add native ultrawide support next, that's my only criticism!
pela terceira vez a asobo acertou, que jogo lindo
