About

Set 15 years before A Plague Tale: Requiem, play as Sophia, a fierce young plunderer, on the run but determined to uncover the secrets of her past. Dive into an original story blending combat, myth and fate with a brand new take in the universe of A Plague Tale.
Sophia’s journey leads to the Minotaur' Island, where she faces deadly trials, navigates treacherous trails, solves puzzles, all while fighting and staying one step ahead of the army chasing her. But the true challenge awaits, as the terrifying creature hidden behind the myth will soon resonate with her…

Sophia is a skilled, agile, and strong-willed fighter who engages in dynamic and violent melee combat. Followed by many enemies, each drawn to the Island to reclaim a mysterious treasure, you must navigate a treacherous maze. Rely on your agility, tricks and sharp reflexes to outsmart enemies, perfect your parries, and unleash powerful strikes to survive deadly encounters.

Shift between the Middle Age of Sophia and ancient Minoan times, where echoes of the past shape the battles of the present. Unfold a new story in the universe of A Plague Tale, through the entwined destinies of two heroes linked by fate and the Macula’s mysterious legacy.

Guided by the knowledge safeguarded in your notebook, follow in your crew’s footsteps to explore a richly detailed world, unravel its secrets, and face deadly trials. Use a stolen Minoan sphere to solve ingenious puzzles by manipulating light - a force woven by Daedalus into the island’s very heart.

It is said that only a few came back from the island. Lurking in the shadows lives a restless presence. It follows you around, seemingly knowing your every move, as it hunts through the island’s depths.
Every step is a risk. Every pause, a potential end. You can’t stop, only hide, outsmart, and push forward. Can you survive each trial and every step or will you join those who never came back?

Update: tried to make a refund because can't pass the chapter because of bug and got rejected, thx guys! Well, the game story is interesting, and...that's all, then are only stupid ideas and bugs bugs bugs and another bugs. 1: Fighting is interesting also but, u need to be ready that if the the enemy started and attack then even if u ran 20 metters away he anyway will hit u, or tleport to u and hit. 2. The most annoyng bug is the moving system, if u're running and try to jump ur character will stop move after jump, u need to unpress 'W' and press again, so in the fighting or if someone is chasing you that is almost always lethal. 3. we are in 2026 year and developers can't program binding mouse buttons, impressive no ? 4. when enter in menu buttons didn't press, u need to press a few times for their working, sometimes even 5-6 times required. so, all that i was ready to endure because was impressed and atreacted by main story, and then welcome to chapter 9 when u need to run from a nigthmare, and here the bug with movin is critical, i can't pass that chapter because of bug, almost two ours of tries and no way thx bug. Then i discovered that there is dificulty changing mode, tried him to 'main story' the most easy mod but anyway the nightmare didn't chamge his speed so thx bug i can't pass further.

What a great game. Great story, great gameplay, different from the first two parts. More fighting. But on a high level! Fully recommended
Enjoy the Silence ...
Great game! Somewhat different than the first two games. Much more combat focused, without much of the stealth the other plague tale games had. This felt like a mashup of plague tale and tomb raider, with some god of war inspired combat mixed in.
Confesso que não esperava muito do jogo pelo que tinha sido mostrado e com uma gameplay diferente dos antecessores, porém mais uma pedrada da da ASOBO. História e trilha impecáveis, gameplay muito maneirinha.
just didnt scratch the itch for a new plagues tale game they removed mostly all of the things that made the game unique i get that they wanted to do something different here but the rat mechanics light and dark and the slingshot were awesome they even removed stealth kills now the game feels like a generic hack and slash game with VERY easy puzzles dodge attack parry attack rinse repeat and the "music" is just some sort of midevil chanting through the entire game so i had to turn it off while playing
I finished the first 2 games a few months ago after i discovered them and got hooked immediately. Then i saw Resonance was coming out and i went in blind because i wanted to see for myself without any info (yes i trust the devs that much) and i don't regret it at all. First of all the graphics were outstanding and it runned fine on ultra settings without any problem which is a huge positive if you compare it to other modern games that have terrible optimization. Every single scene was worthy of a screenshot, especially in ''places with building'' . Storywise was everything i expected and more. It expanded the world and gave more information about certain things while taking a unique path on a different country and people. The characters had a very nice and natural build up . The gameplay really won me over. The fighting was very different than the first 2 as you focus on close combat now instead of ranged. You need to parry, counter, dodge, charge critical attacks and have an interesting skill tree. Also now you can sprint most of the game, grapple and more importantly jump! Jumping really made a huge difference , exploring was more fun, secrets more rewarding (an easy 100% completion btw) and generally it felt more natural. A thing that i found a little bit weird was the ''sneak'' option that was not a choice for 90% of the game and fights. The puzzles were many and i found it weird that people complaint about them, i found nothing wrong with them and i really enjoyed them. They were new, refreshing and actually needed some thought. But the thing that made a HUGE impact for me (and probably because i didn't see anything about it beforehand xDD) was the very heavy Greek influence the game had. As a greek person i was mindblown when i heard a greek song in the intro and later on in many instances of the game. The story relied on some greek mythology and it was a surprise to me for a Plague game. The music was honestly one of the best and more suiting i heard in the last years. I would appreciate it more if it was a little louder and had some subtitles tho xD. I would 100% recommend it and i think i would go blind to their next game as well when and if it comes out as they seem to deliver and not dissapoint time and time again!
What i supposed to tell .... Plaque tale is a very underated franchise ..... big thanks to that developer team(s) .... i dont need more hours spend that game to say - they will not disappoint me! It is a shame that that franchise doesn't get that attention it deserves.
