Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

great
RE1 is peak. Don't get it twisted fixed camera angles and janky movement controls do take getting used to and is a big factor of why unless you are willing to persevere through I don't recommend this game. Ignoring all that here's a list of reasons to play this masterpiece. -The spencer mansion is the best RE location ever done disguising all its deadliest traps and misfortune in its grandeur with the layout being tricky but very rewarding to learn allowing plenty of shortcuts and neat tricks to avoid deadly encounters. -Combat is simple yet satisfying with crit shots taking the cake. Weapons are few in variety but all useful for different encounters. Especially the magnum and shotgun being so satisfying to kill with. -Bossfights are fun and always have their own tricks to get by especially with a knife only run playing scooby-doo music in the background dodging and baiting just to get a poke in. -Replayability is found in the different gamemodes and difficulties, as well as the unique endings requiring all sorts of backtracking or puzzles to accomplish. Invisible enemies is tough work though. -Puzzles are the greatest charm of this game especially with how it affects how you interact with bosses or areas. Depending on how you progress saving Richard early can allow Jill to get a strong weapon early or letting him die as Chris to let you get Rebecca to do most of the plant 42 fight for you is pretty entertaining. -Wesker and the story are great, the game tells you just enough to keep you hooked and yet gives you the opportunity to discover it all yourself through files and enemy encounters. -Bossfights are equally as simple yet charming with both yawn fights being DBD simulators and the Tyrant2 fight scaling with the difficulty. Did you know on harder difficulties he can parry the rocket. WTF -Item resource and management is kept engaging with crimson heads requiring you to use the lighter and fluid to take care of dead zombies or to just leave them be and maneuver around them, risky but rewarding. -Only downside of the game is the 100% grind, requiring an absurd amount of playthroughs to accomplish as most are just finish game doing certain thing or unlock all "something" having to be done on the same save file. However these are only problems as the game came out back in 2002 or 2015 on steam. So its not that deep. In conclusion, the games great no real flaws other than its simplicity or the fact it came out long enough ago where tank jank controls were considered a good idea. Everything works so well together it makes me super excited for a RE1R Remake which will happen eventually. Highly recommend 9/10. Its peak. :)

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Scarier than later resi games imo
Would love to give this game a good review but unfortunately its unplayable, After multiple attempts I cannot get it to run on my system.
If there was a game I could play again for the first time, it would be this one. Came into it thinking, it's an old game no way it gonna scare me... it scare me. :)
itchy, tasty!
Дуже цікаво було ознайомитися з першоджерелом сюжету цієї захопливої історії. Трошки незручна спочатку, але все-таки обов'язкова для проходження, якщо раніше сподобалася хоча б одна із ігор серії Resident Evil.
muito bom
I hate tank controls but this game is pretty good. Oh and the mines suck *ss.
