Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Jogo clássico, faltou umas conquistas pra deixar o gameplay melhor e também um preço melhor, ninguém merece pagar 50 pilha em jogo antigo sem melhorias(peguei na promoção por menos de 30)

I thought it'd be okay not playing the original RE 1 since the Gamecube remake was so well done and is up there with some of the best games ever made in my opinion. What you miss out on with the remake though is the odd and vibrant colours, the stilted awkwardness of the cutscenes, and the fuzzy and comforting/unsettling score. Definitely still worth playing today if you can handle both the visuals and the controls (which you'll likely have to remap).
What a fun game!! Despite it's age it really holds up as an engaging and fun survival playthrough. Although the mechanics can be frustrating it is easily managed and can make for a really charming experience. I highly reccomend this game it was a wonderful time. The main cast and story are unforgettable!
There are games you play, and then there are games that stay with you for decades. The original Resident Evil (Biohazard) is firmly in the second category. As Resident Evil (Biohazard) is a childhood classic for me! Going back to the Spencer Mansion feels like opening a time capsule. The fixed camera angles, the eerie silence, the unforgettable soundtrack, the cheesy yet charming voice acting, and those iconic door loading animations all create an atmosphere that sticks throughout the game. Every hallway feels dangerous, every item matters, and every bio-weapon encounter keeps you on edge. By today's standards, the controls and presentation may seem dated, but that's part of its identity. Instead of constant action, the game builds tension through limited resources, clever puzzles, and the fear of not knowing what's waiting around the next corner. It rewards patience and careful exploration. This is the game that laid the foundation for the survival horror genre and introduced so many unforgettable moments that are now gaming history. Whether you're revisiting it for nostalgia or experiencing it for the first time, it's easy to appreciate just how influential and well crafted it still is.

Really fun I think this and the remake are amazing I just hate those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hunters
the start of a peak franchise
The original Resident Evil is a classic that is still fun to this day. While I prefer the remake over the original, it is still a game that I go back to every now and then. The cheesy voice acting is part of the charm, and I like how the cast of characters interact with each other differently depending on which character you play as (you can choose between Jill or Chris). Once you complete your first playthrough, you can play the game again with a different character in order to unlock the 'true ending.' I definitely recommend playing this game with both characters. The unique thing about the PC version of Resident Evil is that it allows for unlimited saves for the first character playthrough (and apparently the game is easier than the original PS1 version). However, the second playthrough requires the use of ink ribbons for saving your progress. This game can be a little bit of a challenge initially, but once you have played this game, it becomes easier to pick-up and play. I definitely think this game is worth playing on the computer.
