Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

TL;DR: Not enough story or world-building to keep me invested through the rather bland gameplay. I really wanted to like this game. Ever since the first trailer for its never-released spiritual successor, The Last Night, I've been looking forward to a game that blends 2D '80s aesthetics with modern 3D lighting in this way. From a stylistic perspective, the game has a lot going for it, but that's also where most of the positives begin and end. The overall narrative and world have a campy '80s vibe that I genuinely enjoyed, but it's only skin-deep. Even after around nine hours, the story never really gets going, and the characters remain largely underdeveloped. I don't mind the lack of voice acting—I'm used to reading large amounts of text from classic JRPGs—but the writing feels generic, and most characters never evolve beyond being quest givers. They're not outright clichés, but they're never given enough depth to become memorable. The world itself also feels surprisingly shallow. While the game makes occasional use of environmental storytelling, it never capitalizes on those ideas in a meaningful or coherent way. It constantly hints at a richer setting than it actually delivers. Unfortunately, the gameplay doesn't make up for it. The platforming feels stiff and underdeveloped, while the combat is equally basic. There are some genuinely good ideas throughout, but none of them feel particularly polished. As a result, the combat lacks the depth to stand on its own, the platforming quickly becomes repetitive, and the world simply isn't engaging enough to keep me invested. I genuinely hope the developers get the opportunity to make a sequel, because I think the foundation is there. With more time, a larger budget, and a stronger focus on gameplay depth and world-building, a second installment could be something special. As it stands, this is by no means a bad game—it's simply not compelling enough for me to want to spend more time with it.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It is a good game

Awesome, AWESOME, game. Oozes coolness and style. It doesn’t “innovate” anywhere but it didn’t need to. The story was compelling, the combat was punchy (can’t beat Arkham-like combat imo) and the visuals were so inspired. One of the new kings of the 2D action side rolling genre
100/100 Gameplay 100/100 Story 100/100 MUSIC! (probably) Inspired by UPGRADE (2016), BLADE RUNNER (1982), its Sequel and many other Dystopian novels and cinemas. this video game should be in the 'feeling empty after finishing the game' genre.
