Every door in this town owes you money. Buy homes, furnish them, screen tenants face to face, and knock on doors when the rent comes due. Answer the phone, evict with grounds, and outrun the bank's weekly cut, all in first person. The rent is due. Go get it.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 21 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Rent Due is a first-person landlord sim where the property empire doesn't run itself. You run it. Answer the phone, buy your first trailer, furnish it room by room, and put it on the market. Then do the part other games skip: meet the applicants face to face, hand over the keys, and knock on doors when the rent comes due.
Start with $8,000, a laptop, and an uncle who stays on the line. Browse listings on PlotPoint, walk through every property before you buy it, and furnish your homes one set at a time. A well-kitted kitchen pays for itself in rent. Work your way up from the trailer park to the nicer streets, and when the open market runs thin there's always the auction house, where foreclosures go cheap and the bidding gets personal.
EstateBank fronts the cash, up to three notes at a time. Your credit line grows with every deed you hold, and the installment leaves your account every single week whether you had a good week or not. Debt is a ladder, as long as the rent outruns the payments.
Undercut the market and applicants sprint to your office. Price it greedy and watch it sit empty, eating your calendar. Every listing is a bet on how much the neighborhood loves you, and the pricing cards let you choose exactly how greedy you feel today.
Applicants line up at your office. Run background checks to see their job, income, credit score, and their record. "Public intox at Build-A-Bear" is a real thing you will read in this game. Leases run short around here, a week to two months, so renewal day always comes: keep them, raise them, or let them walk. The guy you didn't vet? He's the reason your living room is gone.
Rent doesn't wire itself to your account. It piles up at the door until you come get it, and the calendar knows exactly who owes you and when. Knock, take the cheque in person, and keep the streak clean.
Your tenants have your number and no sense of timing. Pipes burst, storms roll in, somebody's cousin moves in without asking, and every call is a decision with a price on it. Let it ring out if you dare. They remember. They all remember.
Non-payers get a notice signed by your own hand, stamped, and posted on their door in person. Just make sure you have grounds, because tenants fight back, and losing in court makes them untouchable. Thinking of raising the rent sky high to force someone out? The judge has seen that trick before. And yes, you can throw a punch. Keep swinging at the same tenant and you'll find out what lawyers cost.

time should stop at 12. Wake up @ 6.
Very simple concept. What i enjoy about this game is it's straight to the point early on. Not a whole lot to do. Stack $$$ and take out your first bank loan to buy your third house, collect money, sleep, rinse and repeat. the more homes you buy, the more there is to do. Can't wait to see what this developer does with this in the future. I usually get bored with simple concepts like this, but for some reason "Rent Due" doesn't do that to me. The risk to purchase is worth it imo.
Finished the game loved it and want more

BORING! do not buy unless you want to see the same scene over and over again!
as of right now the game really needs a quality of life update. its very slow when you don't have money to buy a new property and already collected the rent you literally can just sit and wait to sleep to the next day which then is just collect rent and sit again
The game has some stuff t0 work on.. but overall a solid 3.8/5 Feels as if you have to grind A TON... Need to add more stuff to be done during the day, all I did was collect rent then sleep 20 hours and repeat.. Lengthen day timers as well - trying to have conversations with all the renters (mandatory..) sometimes puts me as late as 3pm.. and I am not that far in. There was also unexpected lag in loading and during gameplay - would fully stutter for a few seconds..
I truly am enjoying this game. I got it on the day of release and I am seeing so many improvements already. Every issue I have had with the game has been addressed with a new update shortly after! This most recent update had addressed the time issue; and they took care of it quickly! I am so excited to see what else they can come up with, it is a very fun game, one where I am excited to get all of the achievements! Thank you, Devs!
Unfortunately this is a sleep simulator. There is nothing to do outside of collecting rent so you need to sleep over and over (you can only sleep a max 6 hours) so you can get to the next day to collect rent. Want to buy more homes? You can't even borrow enough money from the bank to purchase the 1st home on your own unless you sleep through about 2 weeks, and at that point you won't be able to make enough money to pay back the loan with the minimal rent you charge. There is literally nothing else to do.
bad control
Interesting concept, but there's nothing to do in the game other than sleep (for a max of 6 hours at a time, and watch an annoying cutscene each time). It sort of feels like the developer forgot half the game.
