Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 1 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This and Root (also by Dire Wolf Digital) are the best digital implementations of strategy board games I have seen. But I can get this one "to the table" far more than Root because it plays in under an hour at all player counts. The UI is a joy to interact with. The tutorial is excellent. The AI is good for learning, then try to get some friends to join you online. The game is outstanding at all player counts (but more people is better). The rules are extremely elegant, almost like an abstract game. But the games have, to me, the most amazing emergent narratives. I am still thinking about my last turn in my last game, when my gold leader marched an army across a river and attacked a kingdom in the south. I am still wondering if that was the right move. I have had some of my best experiences in gaming with my friends on this app.
FOR MORE CARD AND BOARD GAMES FOLLOW US CARD GAME KING
Yellow & Yangtze is a digital adaptation of the well-received board game from a well known designer. Unfortunately, it's not the one I'm familiar with so this review will be about the game, rather than the adaptation. As I only review single player aspect, multiplayer won't be covered. At its heart Y&Y is a map control game. Because many pieces are not player owned, it's often possible to take advantage of another player's point generation set up - and the game is all about exploiting such weaknesses in defense and learning to live with your own. Since only the lowest resource will be scored players will have to switch strategies and setup, often abandoning the previous ones making each game very dynamic and strategic. I found the matches to be quick but filled with tactical decision making as you weigh on how best to spend your only two actions per turn. It might take a few games to fully understand the rules, but thankfully the tutorial and the in-game rule reference are both well designed and teach the game step by step (conveniently there is also a video tutorial on YT for the digital game). The UI is clean and thankfully there is the much needed undo button, as well an easy way to check what different components do. For the solo player the AI seems capable and the the 7 scenario mini campaign works well as an extended tutorial with special setups. All in all the short matches coupled with tactical decision making makes this an easy recommendation.
Favorite mechanics
• The way point generation is designed creates a natural tug-of-war.
The positive
+ Quick matches and quick turns + Strategically deep + Good UI and accessible rule reference + Good tutorial + Good solo support with AI and mini-campaign + Music is nice
The neutral
* None
The negative
- Very minor remark, but the undo button can undo a complete series of actions instead of the latest
Conclusion:
A good strategic board game with map control that requires sharp decision making and offers quick matches with tactical depth. Recommended, 7.5/10.

Yellow and Yangtze is an updated and slightly more complex take on Reiner Knizia's classic "Tigris and Euphrates" game. There are now more differences between each tile colour, and more differences between the leaders as well. But the core of the experience is the same: play tiles onto the board to form states, and if you have a leader of the matching colour in that state, you get a point in that colour. Play three similarly-coloured tiles adjacent to each other and they transform into a 1-point per turn padoga. If you connect two states they go to war with each other. If you play a leader into a state that already has a leader of that type there is a revolt. Both wars and revolts are handled with a simple (perhaps even simplistic) bidding mechanic. The highest point total wins. ... except that your score is the lowest of your colour coded points. So if you have 20 points in red, blue, and green, but only 1 point in black, your final score is 1. This is a very clever piece of design work, since it incentivizes players to behave strategically, and often means that players are willing to abandon states or leaders because they don't need points of that colour anymore. This is one of the most unique features of T&E/Y&Y, and one of the reasons it is so beloved. Overall this is a decent implementation of the game, with challenging AI and multiplayer options. My only gripes are that there should be a fast animation option to speed up AI turns, and bizarrely, the quit button is not available on the main menu... it is buried in "options" for some reason!
The tutorial doesn't really explain well, but once you figure this game out it is tons of fun. One of my favorites.
It has a great undo button
