About
Order Automatica is a dark tactical roguelite where automated battles are won before they even begin.
Build deadly synergies on a small 3x3 ritual grid, position your units carefully, manipulate tiles, and prepare for brutal encounters against demonic enemies. Every move matters.
What looks simple quickly becomes a deep game of:
positioning,
timing,
unit merging,
tile effects,
relic combinations,
curses,
and run-breaking synergies.
Enemies attack automatically, but victory depends entirely on your planning. One clever setup can trigger devastating chain reactions. One mistake can end an entire run.
Experiment with wildly different builds, adapt to unpredictable encounters, and discover strategies that completely change how the game is played.
A small board. Endless possibilities.
Like chess with demons.

Order Automatica
Really fun auto-battler with such satisfying visuals and animations. Definitely has some Inscryption vibes. There’s a depth of mechanics here that I didn’t originally expect. I’m still learning after playtesting the game and playing the demo. But that’s great. It’s one of those “easy to start, hard to master” kind of games. There’s a nice balance of agency and RNG. The things I can control don’t always mean I’ll prevail. There’s always a way forward, but it may takes a couple tries. If you like auto-battler games, this is REALLY solid.
I've had it on my wishlist for a while, I played the demo and it turned out to be a neat auto-battler! It starts slowly, with a limited number of units and mechanics, but once you progress, you unlock more content. I'll definitely play more
Enjoyed the game so far. It has a smooth learning curve and a lot of content to unlock, which keeps you going. Fair deal for a little under $5
The synergies between cells are fun, especially when the positive/negative effects start to affect your grid
Loving the sort of "Into the Breach-meets-Balatro-meets-Inscryption" vibe here. And for only $5, the amount of depth and replayability in this game is super impressive. Killer soundtrack, killer style, challenging but fair gameplay... Anyone who likes to stare at a screen and overthink your decisions for extended periods of time should pick this up.
This was a tough one to review, and ultimately I gave it a do not recommend simply because I wouldn't recommend it to my friends, but it still might appeal to you. After playing the demo and seeing the low price, I decided to take a flyer despite what seemed like a lack of content because I absolutely adore the mechanics and polish. It reminded me of The Dungeon Beneath, which I put a lot of hours into. Like that game, Order Automatica is an autobattler where unit placement before fights is the extent of combat autonomy for the player. This is enhanced, though, with relics, leveling your units, and equipping items to them. Build synergy comes from unit abilities and item usage. There's obviously a bit of luck involved there, and I can't help but feel like some units are just hands-down better than others for stacking stats (the prisoner/living stone/refresh relic synergy goes insane fast if you can snag the pieces for the build early). This is important because the synergistic ability builds don't seem to compare in usefulness to just having a giant stat stick. That being said, the balancing feels fine, although the game is on the easy side. And on that note, this is my biggest gripe with the game. I 100%ed the game, achievements included, in under 5 hours, with maybe only a handful of failed runs. I am particularly experienced with this type of roguelite, so I may have taken to it quicker than some of y'all reading this; your mileage may vary. If you're not a roguelite/autobattler addict like me, this game very well may take 2-4x as much time to complete. Even with going back to get all the eyes or whatever on every stage, which seems to be about the extent of the replayability that interests me, I still finished everything in under 5 hours though. I tried the final serpent endless mode stage once and immediately got my 3 eyes from that. I was very disappointed that once you get past the first set of 9 matches, it seems like you just play the same boss over and over with their stats scaled up each time, which was pretty boring. Maybe there's a chance there are more bosses that I didn't see since I did this before 100%ing and didn't quite make the 3rd set of 9 matches, but I can't really say I feel motivated to hop back in and find out. One other thing I wanted to bring up for the devs is that I had an issue where I'd set my graphics to windowed mode by unchecking full screen, but when I'd close and boot up the game next, it would go back to full screen mode (despite the box for full screen still being unchecked). Overall, though, this is a really polished game. The graphics and music are great, the mechanics are addicting and clean, and the controls and reactivity are smooth. If this all sounds like your cup of tea for this cheap, or if you are the type that enjoys grinding out the same thing for hours with nothing else to unlock or do for the thrill of it, I definitely would recommend you pick up the game. You're not getting bang for your buck, but you are getting a very well-made game. Huge props to New Beings for what they did right here.
Really well done autobattler/unit merger type of game. Placement of units matters, and no matter what I've been handed, it's very easy to get some synergies going. It has unit unlocks and some light meta progression, but nothing crazy that'll top what picking the right units and items does for you. Tons of difficulty modes to unlock too. One of the best designed, and well thought out ones of these I've seen honestly. Absolute steal for the price.
An interesting roguelike strategy game where you place units with varied special abilities on a grid. Combat is carried out automatically in a specific order, so it's simply a matter of where you place units, what attack and defense values they have, what abilities they have, and how items function. New units are powerful items are purchased between rounds, and item synergy is important to take advantage of your strengths. Advanced tactics open up once you place units that play off each other. A challenging game that works great on the Steam Deck with full controller support.
