Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 10 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Sit on the throne as a benevolent (or malevolent) medieval monarch of the modern age and swipe your royal controller either left or right to impose your will upon the kingdom. Survive the seemingly never-ending gauntlet of requests from your advisors, peasants, allies, and enemies while maintaining balance between the influential factions of your kingdom. But beware; each decision you make might have implications and unfortunate consequences down the road that could put your reign and family’s dynasty at risk!
An Unpredictable Kingdom: Each year of your reign brings another important – seemingly random – request from your unpredictable kingdom as you strive for balance between the church, the people, the army, and the treasury. Prudent decisions and careful planning make for a long reign but unforeseen motivations, surprise events, and poor luck can take down even the most entrenched monarch.
Dynasty Expansion: Extend your reign as long as possible, forge alliances, make enemies, and find new ways to die as your dynasty marches along through the ages. Some events will span on centuries, with an intrigue involving burning witches, scientific enlightenment, wicked politics and, maybe, the Devil himself.
Royal Challenges: Achieve specific goals set before you at the start of your reign to cement your legacy and unlock new cards and content within the kingdom.
Eclectic Presentation: An inspiring score from Disasterpeace compliment elegant gameplay and a bold art direction for a sublime experience as you rule over your people.

Reviews
Game unplayable due to controller not working. Steam discussions shows many people showing this issue for years and yet devs seem to have moved on and/or owners don't seem to be concerned about supporting their title. I cannot recommend this game unless you're sure that you'll only use your k&m.
I got this game 5 years ago for $1.59 and played it feverishly earlier this year. I put in 1 hour per dollar spent and can say that the game is well worth the cost then and it still is now. If you like card-like deck building games, get this.
An Oldie But A Goodie
When it first come out the youtubers were playing and ow with a new update i decide to give it a try. This good game but not for everyone due to its simplicity and randomness. I liked the humor and its simplicity. It does run out of steam but the end of 2nd playthrough so i couldn't be bothered to find the new ending as the randomness and the lack of newness wears on you. Overall a good experience that I would recommend to those who want a simple game with dark humor.
Trial and Error unico nel suo genere, è un giochino sfizioso niente di più

Es un juego traanquilo. Solo saber mantener en equilibrio los cuatros aspectos para permanecer como rey muchos años
solid game, but a bit too prone to bad RNG. like seriously, getting unlucky can just kill you, giving you no choice but to accept your death. i wish the game had more guarantees (like always getting the potion from the vase or always being able to build stuff, every couple of years/runs), cause you really cant go far if you don't get some of the buildings (most helpful are the barn and high walls imo, theocracy is nice too). combat system is also RNG heavy, and it would've been better if you arent forced to learn the bad moves (like praying, taunting, unexpected proposal, etc) and were just able to fight normally. game also suffers from bugs, like I got prompted by the vase to get the strawberry multiple times, even though I already gave the strawberry to the skeleton, or just in the middle of the 10 year uneventfulness, someone will just pop up with an event, or (and imo the worst one) if there are multiple effects that affect your stats (like crusade and black death for example), when you die and lose an effect, anything else that had an effect on the stat, just doesnt (for the example I gave, when you die, on the next life you wont lose population anymore, just gain money). i can barely recommend it, and it would be nice if the devs released a patch to address the bugs. 6.5/10

The game is great, you can have a great time playing it. The only thing missing is Ukrainian localization
