Solid game for Hotline Miami fans.

I'm a simpIe guy: I go to space, I slay my enemies, I enjoy my time. Superb soundtrack, splendid gameplay, far-out old school graphics and tons of fun - whats not to like! For Valhalla and beyond!

Super fun, fast-paced, and challenging! If you like the gameplay of Hotline Miami, this will be right up your alley. I really enjoyed the switchable special skill mechanic, too.

Hotline Miami..... in spaaaaaaaaaace..... with vikings? Sure, why not. Fun little game. Not as difficult as HM or HM2 especially, but that's fine. There is a hard mode though, as well, if it's too easy. I blasted through on normal in just over 2 hours, but they've added a 10k kills right after I finished.... guess I have to replay anyway.... I enjoyed the utter cluelessness of the protagonists. It certainly doesn't take itself too seriously. Some good music but not really on the level of many of HM's tracks either. It's tough to make a game like HM, because HM is just so good it will inevitably be compared. But I still recommend it if you get it on sale or in a bundle.

I do not know how to write positive stuff so I'll write about the negatives: - The Horn is too overpowered and was probably added late into the development cycle. - The Space Viking theme is more space than viking and I feel balancing the two would have made more of a interesting game thematically. You can see this in the music although Level 2 theme was good. - Dialogue in the game is extremely clunky, but that is obviously not the draw of the game. - Enemy positions in level design seem against logic. Power Items also seem to be too heavily distributed and some should have limited uses. - Mostly unoriginal But beyond that even with all that I recommend the game.
