Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
This game and Skyrim are what all video games should strive to be. RDR2 tells a story, but allows the player to create their own stories within the overall story. The player develops emotional attachments to the characters and videos of players expressing strong emotions are common. If you want to have an experience and not just an arcade shoot-em-up experience then this is your game.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best MX #75, worst UK #98 · 9 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 23/day in the week to Jul 30 → 22/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

ITS PEAK
I love this franchise and I played a lot of it. I fully completed Red Dead Redemption 2 with 100% progress. I unlocked every single achievement and spent hundreds of hours in that game. Because of this, I had very high expectations for the first Red Dead Redemption. At first, I was worried because the game feels a bit older and the world is smaller than in RDR2. However, I actually really liked the game! The story of John Marston is amazing and very exciting. Even though the graphics are older, the gameplay is still a lot of fun and the atmosphere is great. If you loved RDR2, you should definitely play this first part too. It is a fantastic game. My Playtime: 🤠 RDR 2 ➔ 800 Hours (100% Completed + All Achievements) 🐎 RDR 1 ➔ 100 Hours (Fully Explored)
There are Western games, and then there's Red Dead Redemption. This isn't just a game about cowboys. It's about watching an entire way of life disappear. Every ride across the desert, every lonely town, every campfire, and every sunset reminds you that the Wild West is breathing its last breath. Few games have ever captured atmosphere this perfectly. John Marston isn't some invincible action hero. He's a flawed man trying to leave his past behind, only to discover that the past never really lets go. His journey is one of the best stories gaming has ever told, and by the time the credits roll, you'll understand why people still talk about it over a decade later. The soundtrack is unforgettable, the world is beautiful without feeling empty, and the random encounters make every ride feel like you're starring in your own classic Western movie. Whether you're hunting bounties, playing poker, dueling at high noon, or simply riding into the sunset, the game never stops feeling authentic. Sure, the graphics show their age, but great art doesn't expire. A masterpiece doesn't stop being a masterpiece because it's older. Red Dead Redemption isn't just the best Western game ever made. It's the greatest Western experience ever created in any medium. 10/10. Absolute masterpiece.
