Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Realpolitiks, developed by Jujubee S.A. and published by Fulqrum Publishing, is a grand strategy game that takes the ambitious step of placing players in control of a modern nation-state, navigating the volatile and interconnected world of contemporary geopolitics. Unlike many strategy titles that rely on historical settings, this game operates within a present-day framework, where real-world borders, political tensions, and global challenges form the foundation of its design. This choice gives the experience an immediate sense of relevance, as players are not rewriting history but actively reshaping a version of the world that closely mirrors our own. The game’s central appeal lies in its attempt to balance accessibility with the complexity of global governance. Players are tasked with managing a wide array of systems, including economic development, diplomatic relations, military expansion, and technological progress. Each decision carries weight, influencing both domestic stability and international standing. The structure encourages a constant evaluation of priorities—whether to invest in infrastructure, strengthen alliances, or pursue more aggressive expansionist policies. While the mechanics are streamlined compared to more hardcore grand strategy titles, they still offer enough interactivity to create a sense of control and progression. A key component of the experience is its event-driven system, which introduces a steady stream of dilemmas and scenarios that require immediate responses. These events range from economic crises to political scandals and international conflicts, often forcing players to make difficult choices with long-term consequences. This design helps maintain engagement and injects unpredictability into each playthrough. However, over time, the repetition of similar event structures can become noticeable, slightly diminishing their impact and making some decisions feel less meaningful than intended. The flexibility in choosing any country in the world adds significant replay value, allowing players to experiment with different strategies depending on the strengths and weaknesses of their chosen nation. Leading a global superpower offers a vastly different experience compared to guiding a smaller, developing country toward prominence. Additionally, the presence of different political systems—ranging from democratic to authoritarian—introduces variation in how policies are implemented and how the population reacts, giving players multiple pathways to achieve their goals. Despite these strengths, Realpolitiks struggles to fully deliver on its ambitious premise. The simplification of complex systems, while making the game more approachable, often results in a lack of depth that becomes apparent during extended play. Economic and military mechanics, in particular, can feel somewhat superficial, and certain strategies may prove disproportionately effective, reducing the need for careful planning. This can lead to a gameplay loop that, while initially engaging, loses some of its strategic nuance over time. From a presentation standpoint, the game adopts a clean but minimalistic approach. The interface is functional and easy to navigate, but it lacks the refinement and visual flair seen in more polished strategy titles. The audiovisual elements serve their purpose without standing out, contributing to an experience that feels more utilitarian than immersive. While performance is generally stable, the overall production values reflect a project that prioritizes concept over presentation. In the end, Realpolitiks is a game driven by a compelling idea: making modern geopolitics playable in a way that is both engaging and accessible. It succeeds in offering a broad strategic sandbox where players can experiment with different approaches to global dominance, and its contemporary setting sets it apart within the genre. However, its streamlined systems and occasional lack of depth prevent it from reaching the level of complexity and immersion that more experienced strategy fans might expect. It is best appreciated as an entry point into grand strategy, or as a lighter alternative for those who prefer a less demanding experience. Rating: 6/10

technical but rewarding
