Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 31 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Found it very adictive and more frustrating than fun. Its a kinda random challenge feel for me. And i havent managed to win once..
Ratropolis is a really interesting mix of real-time strategy, deckbuilding, and city defense, and overall I had a very good time with it. The concept is honestly great. You build and defend a rat city against waves of enemies using a real-time card system, and it creates a very intense and fast-paced gameplay loop. It’s constantly about managing your deck, your economy, and your defenses at the same time, which makes every run feel pretty dynamic. The gameplay loop is addictive. There’s a good sense of progression with unlocking new cards, leaders, and builds over time. It’s one of those games where you always feel like you want to try “one more run”. Visually, it has a charming style. It’s not a AAA-looking game, but the art direction works well for what it is. The different biomes and the overall presentation give it a lot of personality. Where the game can struggle a bit is in repetition. After a while, you start to notice that runs can feel quite similar, especially once you understand the core strategies. The real-time aspect is fun, but it can also become a bit overwhelming or messy during bigger fights, where things get harder to fully control. There is also a learning curve. It’s not always immediately clear what the most optimal decisions are, and the game can feel a bit punishing early on until you understand how everything connects. Overall though, Ratropolis is a very solid indie game with a strong identity. It’s addictive, original, and very satisfying in short bursts, even if it can get a bit repetitive over time. Pros: Unique mix of real-time strategy and deckbuilding Addictive gameplay loop (“one more run” effect) Good sense of progression and unlocks Charming art style and strong identity Fast-paced and engaging decision making Cons: Can become repetitive after extended play Can get chaotic and hard to read in late-game fights Steep learning curve at the beginning
Fast and fun!
i actually enjoy this game, but i have to down vote it for multiple reason: unpolish gameplay: the card are not balance( some card are completly useless or so specific like the card that allow you to remove curse on enemy for money... ) the hero power are not on the same scale, a lot is left to pure rng, but the rng is not in your favor the unit movement are clunky and slow you almost can never react to a emergency (1 frenzy rat who manage to sneak the last wall on the 3rd wave will destroy your palace in only 2 hit) the citizen resource is brutal, if your commander doesn't allow you to increase it (only a few can), you need to find a way to increase it periodically or you cannot sustain a proper army or using labor, with no guarantee to ever find any some boss have too strong ability: one just sleep your whole melee army then kill them 1 by 1 there is no story, there just not enough space to build even when expanding relentlessly expecially for builder. regarless, the game is still quite fun to play, but you have to play a lot to become good https://store.steampowered.com/app/1108370/Ratropolis/#enough to enjoy it, and even if you play perfectly you can easily reach a point where you simply can't keep up, you don't make enough money, you never find any decent army card ( and you only need 1 really) or you never find anything to increase the amount of citizen.
