Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 31 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I played this game only for 1,2 hours and my experience is based on that. I wanted to get a game like "Kingdom Two Crowns", and Ratropolis was close to enough in my opinion. But when I played Ratropolis for 1 hour, it felt too fast-paced. Too much action. Just randomly playing my cards and suddenly I got over 10k of gold. The balance felt way too off. In Kingdom, the atmosphere was much more chill and thoughtful - in Ratropolis, everything feels "rushed", I feel I am in constant hurry and rush. You have so many things to do and consider and it's almost impossible to calculate all of their outcomes. So I ended up just spamming my cards because clock was ticking. I am an old(er) man and I would like prefer maybe a bit slower paced game. Maybe younger people who likes fast-action games may like this better. Now I am just throwing my cards like I had ADHD and I have no time to think - or I don't have to think because whatever I am doing, it's working somehow. I feel there are many little decisions you have to make but I feel not every decision is that important. And then there is a pick-up timer for chest so you can't peacefully explore the land before opening it - or you have to pause constantly. If this will change later in the game, let me know or if anyone knows if it becomes slower paced somehow. I want to have my time in game, enjoy for every decision I do - not just randomly making decisions not being sure how it works and so on. Like I bought many mercenaries, but there isn't a clear "time" for how long they will stay in the battle, only yellow bar above them. All little details aren't as clear as I would hope for.

Wish there were more games acutely like this one.
Oh man.
