Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Jul 26 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

In Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator, you take on the everyday responsibilities of a park ranger in the stunning Faremont National Park. Keep the park running, protect the local ecosystem, and support the people who visit it.
Handle a wide range of ranger duties and ensure park rules are respected. One moment, you may be completing routine maintenance. The next, you could be searching for a missing hiker or responding to an urgent wildlife callout.
Faremont’s diverse landscape stretches from dense forests and open meadows to winding rivers. Use your ranger vehicles to travel along the park’s road network and reach remote areas filled with waterfalls, rock formations, and scenic viewpoints.
Protecting Faremont’s wildlife is one of your most important responsibilities. Track animals across the wilderness, rescue wildlife in distress, and secure traps before they can cause further harm. Use specialized ranger equipment to follow signals, safely approach animals, and respond to each situation with care.
From elusive wolves and imposing bison to mischievous raccoons, a diverse range of wildlife brings Faremont National Park to life. Observe animal behavior through your camera, discover new species, and expand your personal wildlife lexicon as you explore.
Your responsibility also extends to Faremont’s visitors. Guide hikers, check permits, respond to emergencies, and investigate suspicious behavior. Handle incidents such as vandalism, prohibited items, littering, or disturbances to keep the park safe and welcoming.
Beyond urgent callouts, you’ll inspect plant health, remove invasive growth, restore affected areas, clean campsites, restock supplies, and transport materials across the park. Every completed task contributes to your park rating, unlocking new missions and equipment as your ranger career progresses.

TLDR: A very pretty and chilled out walking simulator with mini games. I love a good walking simulator. I've happily wandered around games like Way of the Hunter without hunting anything, Sons of the Forest with the cannibals turned off, and I've 100%'d Lushfoil Photography Sim three times. Yet Ranger's Path is scratching that itch more than any of them. For an Early Access game, I'm genuinely impressed by the scale and quality of the world. The landscapes feel almost overwhelmingly huge, lovingly handcrafted and believable. They feel designed first and foremost to be explored on foot, and they're genuinely a joy to wander around. The 'job' is pretty relaxed and never really feels like you're being rushed even when several tasks are listed at once - it's basically 'yeah, yeah. I'll get to it.'. Which is just as well, because getting anywhere is NOT fast! You do have a car, but sometimes your objective can be like 10's of kilometers of walking up trails away from the roads. Another honorable mention is the soundscape - it's really very good indeed. It surpasses the likes of Way of the Hunter for believable forest, animal and weather sounds and the soundscape in general is very pleasant to listen to as you walk around. The tasks themselves are basically just short minigames, and they're necessarily repetitive because you're mostly doing the same tasks - repairing signs and fences and benches etc. My main thoughts/criticisms so far, in terms of things I'd like to see in the future are: Sure, it's primarily a walking simulator, and while it might be realistic to have to walk the trails for miles and miles just to get to a sign that needs repairing, it can be a BIT tedious if you're looking to actually 'do the job' and walk back to the car. Rather than adding unrestricted fast travel (there is fast travel, but only from one ranger station to another) I'd actually rather see a mountain bike. It would be fun, while preserving the feeling of travelling through the park while making those 10km treks between maintenance jobs a little less repetitive. I also think they could take a cue from games like Way Of The Hunter such as being able to call your car to any of the designated parking spots along the roads. Sure, it's not super realistic but both would help, since you literally can be forced to spend a whole day going to one task and not even make it back to the car by end of day! That said, I'd hate to see this game pander to the 'want everything accessible in an instant' crowd with features like 'fast travel anywhere' . It really is a walking simulator at its core, and that shouldn't change. If that doesn't appeal, you're just not the right audience! I'd also really like to be able to play from a first person perspective, to be even more immersed in the landscapes and atmosphere. I'd really really like an autowalk button or toggle to rest my tired W finger during a 20 km hike. A small niggle, but I don't think EVERY visitor to the park should feel the need to greet the ranger... Optimisation could definitely use some work at the moment, though that's also something I'd expect to improve over the course of Early Access. This mainly manifests as occasional momentary freezing which sort of throws your camera aim off and can be a bit annoying/disorientating. But overall, it's already a very enjoyable and satisfyingly chill experience. If you're looking for an action-heavy simulator, this probably isn't it. But if the idea of spending an evening wandering through beautiful national parks, listening to the wildlife and fixing the occasional bench sounds appealing, I'm already having a great time with it. It's like going out and touching grass without having to go out and touch grass.

A very beautiful game with simple mechanics, captivating with its landscapes and level of detail. It’s something between House Flipper and Need for Speed. <3
les missions sont trop loin a chaque fois il t'envoie a l'autre bout de la carte et maintenant avec la nouvelle MAJ on ne peux plus avoir la voiture tout de suite il faut augmenter en niveaux
I wanted to work in national parks when I was younger, so naturally I jumped at the chance to play this game (I bought it for €11, whereas I usually wait for sales around €5 for this kind of game 😂). I finished everything in 21 hours, which might seem fast, but I imagine the game will expand since it's only in early access and there are regular updates. In any case, it was 21 hours of pure bliss and chill time. The gameplay loop does get a bit repetitive eventually, and I hope they'll implement other activities and not just add more areas where you have to do the same thing over and over again. A park management aspect (financial management, I mean, not just the current reputation point system) could be a good idea. Adding animal care activities, population management, or even adding protected species are other possibilities. The base is really good and the game is beautiful, thank you for this game 😊
Nice surprise! I love the forest, the map and the whole national park setting. The graphics look great and the different missions are a nice touch, so there’s always something to do. There are tons of simulator games on Steam, but this one actually has a lot of potential, especially because it seems focused on creating a more realistic experience. It’s still in Early Access, but this is a really solid start. I’ll definitely keep an eye on the updates over the next few months. Recommended!
换了一台电脑,结果存档就没了。查了下竟然就没有云存档,云存档都没有你上什么steam?结果老电脑的游戏也卸载了,老电脑再装回来原来的档还是没有,等于也没保存在documents之类的里面,服了
If I can't make it to a park to hike, you can find me traversing the trails in this game. Truly, this fictious scape is a thing of beauty, and there is so much to do. You'll find yourself lost in these backwoods for hoursss (intentionally), and regret logging off.
