You are a nomadic slugcat, both predator and prey in a broken ecosystem. Grab your spear and brave the industrial wastes, hunting enough food to survive, but be wary— other, bigger creatures have the same plan... and slugcats look delicious.

About
You are a slugcat. The world around you is full of danger, and you must face it – alone. Separated from your family in a devastating flood, you will need to find food and shelter between terrifying torrential downpours which threaten to drown all life. Climb through the ruins of an ancient civilization, evade the jaws of vicious predators, and discover new lands teeming with strange creatures and buried mysteries. Find your family before something makes a meal of you!
Inspired by the simplicity and aesthetics of 16-bit classics, this survival platformer requires clever decision-making, both to catch your own prey and to avoid the jaws of hungry predators. Each ravenous foe in your path will be cunning, vicious and always on the hunt – eager to sink their teeth into you, or even each other. As a small, soft slugcat you must rely on stealth and wit rather than force: learn the ecosystem and turn their strengths to your advantage. Maybe then you can survive… Rain World!

but rain world is so much more than that it has seven red suns in it

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really like this game because of the exploration and the challenging and profound gameplay. However, I recently started the "hard" mode with the hunter, and I find the game waay too punishing for things that shouldn't be. In such a vast world, exploration shouldn't be punished with a 10 minutes time limit. I feel like every loop is a speedrun to survive and try to get to another bunker, and taking the wrong path is basically a death penalty. In my opinion, dying has consequences that are too harsh for the difficulty of the gameplay. Still an incredible game tho, but I struggle to unlock other characters because of that
I love scugs their just scrungly lil guys

Such a great game with a fascinating world. I recommend "Iterations on a Rain World" on Ao3 for a great look at the story
Very positive overall. I have played it both on Steam and Nintendo Switch. Pros Incredible world, atmosphere, and art direction. I love the feeling of being just another creature inside a living ecosystem. Exploration feels mysterious and unpredictable. The ecosystem itself is probably my favorite part of the game. Cons I eventually reach a point where I feel completely lost and I'm not sure if I'm actually progressing. I would like an optional guidance system. I understand that discovery is part of the experience, but I would still like the option to get some direction and actually finish the game. I would have loved more progression for the character itself. A mode where your creature gradually grows, adapts, mutates, or eventually becomes more of a predator would fit the ecosystem concept extremely well. I really enjoy Rain World's world and its sense of discovery. I just wish I had a little more guidance so I could experience more of the game and understand more of its story.
первое ощущение: как будто мне доверили управление самолётом
