You are a slugcat. The world around you is full of danger, and you must face it – alone. Separated from your family in a devastating flood, you will need to find food and shelter between terrifying torrential downpours which threaten to drown all life. Climb through the ruins of an ancient civilization, evade the jaws of vicious predators, and discover new lands teeming with strange creatures and buried mysteries. Inspired by the simplicity and aesthetics of 16-bit classics, this survival platformer requires clever decision-making, both to catch your own prey and to avoid the jaws of hungry predators. Each ravenous foe in your path will be cunning, vicious and always on the hunt – eager to sink their teeth into you, or even each other. As a small, soft slugcat you must rely on stealth and wit rather than force: learn the ecosystem and turn their strengths to your advantage. Maybe then you can survive… Rain World!

Rain world is an absolutely AMAZING game that I couldn't recommend more! Though I do want to specify that this game is really hard in the beggining (and it's easy to feel like giving up). It's not a game that will be for everyone, but if the concept and gameplay looks at all interesting I will really recommend giving it a try. c: Once you get into this game it's genuinely really really fun, I love how the creatures interact and how the story is told, and will always recommend this game to anyone even remotely interested in the game :D Though it is yet again very difficult, and you have to be prepared to very likely struggle at the start :] Just don't give up because of it ;>

I've never played a game quite as unique as Rain World is.
My favorite 2D platformer, honestly the only one I truly like, the survival and karma mixed in gives it such a nice feeling to the game, I love the creatures, the various mechanics that make the game feel unique and fun (Like parkouring over a lizard then gettin it in the back with a spear) I love the game, thank you for this wonderful little slugcat world to venture in
