Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.88/day in the week to Jul 21 → 2.8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ok this whole thing might sound a little silly but it was fun to do so I am sharing. So, I have this stalled C-55 pulling 3500 tons at 1% grade on Cowee with the direction towards Sylva. Tough spot, I was expecting a stall so I stationed the C-40 at Dillsboro as a banker. C-55 stalls, C-40 goes to the rescue, double heads, pulls. Result is 1mph up the grade without any fluctuation. That was extremely slow. A little later I decoupled the P-43 from the passenger service repairs at Dillsboro to send it to the aid of the other two. At this point it starts feeling like Interstellar. P-43 approach to couple while the slow uphill mammoth of a train approaches was easy at 1mph as I practically stop it, and it just rolled on to couple. Speed picked up to 11mph and the train had enough momentum. However, I wanted to return the P-43 to the service. So I get this idea to close the air pressure, and make decoupling easier, but I have to switch to manual camera because the follow camera can't get close enough. I do it. I follow the train coupling on manual camera ... now it's full Hans Zimmer vibes at the back of my head and try to close the pressure valve, so that I won't have a leak. Note, both trains are running on manual with no intention of stopping. Dillsboro is close, this could mean an accident with the cars parked there if I'm not fast enough. *Click* Damn, I decoupled by accident, ♥♥♥♥! The P-43 starts to move ahead, pulling the gladhand out. Pssssssss. ♥♥♥♥! Now it's more important than ever to close those valves! I focus on the mega train first, concentrate and match camera speed, mouse hovering carefully, I see the "open" and snap it, with one single move it moves back to "closed" - YES! did it. Quickly onto the P-43, still leaking but moving away, still manually controlling the camera. First attempt, no. Second attempt, YES! Both trains are on their way the P-43 smoothly cruising ahead, I switch the tracks to avoid the crashes, send the P-43 to service and the C-40/C-55 continue their 3600ton trip to Sylva. "Did I pull a slingshot with that P-43?" I am wondering.

a good and chil game
I like it when you connect your gladhand to my anglecock.
Railroader is nice game and I can rave about them, but what we need to look at is some of the flaws in the game or ways that the game could be improved for better game play. The Time Drop Down. Wait 5 minutes does not stop the clock, but adds 5 minutes. Switch List Drop Down. It sorts the cars in alphabetical order, not the Location . Anglecocks, Nice when you have a small railroad, but latter in the game Anglecocks becomes very annoying. You should have an option to close or open them in the car pop up menu like you how you are able to activate the hand brakes, Turntable. It should be simpler to use and rotate them when in 3rd person view and you man is at the other end of the railroad. The bottom of the screen should have a location map sting/line like the CTC. You should be able to click on the map to move your 3rd person view from town to town. This function should al so work in the map menu. click on the location you want to move your 3rd person view too. AE Road mode is very dumb in the way it works, it needs to have a little more smarts added to it. Those are the top issues the bother me the most at this time.
amazing game with a great community would 1000% recommend
Like having a massive model train set to play with!
This is one far too much fun train simulation game. I have had to sit here for a while to know where to even start. I have got only compliments to give, this game is just absolutely great. I'm capable to stay entertained in 5 hour long sessions an I haven't even got the whole map unlocked ( currently I am operating between Whittier an Alarka Jct, just opened the Alarka branch yesterday ). This game focuses a lot on the railroad logistics aspect of railroading. The physics are pretty good even though there are things "missing" like boiler pressure simulation or possibility to get breakdowns by not using the cylinder ♥♥♥♥♥, etc. However, for the purpose of this game, those "missing" things are actually not bothersome at all. In fact, the air brake simulation is quite fun and I'd say it is pretty accurate too. So in terms of train driving simulation, it isn't as realistic as it could get, but on the other hand, it is very EASY to drive a train, especially for those that don't understand much about driving steam locomotives ( and let me tell you, it isn't exactly easy to deal with heavy freight trains behind steam locomotives ). The logistics and gameplay of this game is what really gets me. The fact that you've got an economy to look after, the fact that you must take care of your rolling stock, the fact that you must comply with the contracts you've signed with the industries to serve them on time, the whole process of delivering freight cars all over the map, collecting them, getting the freight cars to exchange at the interchange yards, my god all of it is so much fun! And don't even get me started on multiplayer. I've had two multiplayer sessions while I streamed it live on Twitch and both sessions lasted for 5 hours. It is PURE fun! Passenger service is also a thing, so you've got yet another thing to take care on your railroad. And the cherry on the top - once you upgrade your railroad with CTC signalling, you can also control the signals yourself! I can't stress enough how this game is so much fun to play! The era represented in the game is very interesting too. The choice of rolling stock one can play with is very good and very fitting for the route represented. TL;DR: I find this game to be a 10 out of 10, the idea is excellent, the concept, the gameplay, the variety of rolling stock, this is a masterpiece of a game. I love it! I personally hope this game won't die anytime soon and I'm very looking forward for all of the future updates or even DLC that may come with it in the future.
I saw videos of this game on YouTube. I have to say the base game is truly amazing and I really enjoy it. Once I started adding mods it only created more and more enjoyment. A huge thank you to the developers on this game. Im excited to see each new update
