About
NOTE: Please be aware the original Railbreak title may be removed from individual direct sale, or transitioned to a legacy product in or around September 2026 on specific platforms in specific cases where it makes sense. It is being replaced by Railbreak DX where supported which is designed to be supported long-term as an expanded experience alongside new graphics, polish, gameplay, and much more. The original legacy Railbreak will not be updated going forward.
It's Saturday night in Cypress Ridge which means the city is in ruins, hordes of flesh eating undead are on the prowl, and you have the arcade all to yourself! Grab your lightgun (or keyboard, mouse, or gamepad), select your survivor, and blast your way to safety as the city burns around you in this on-rails survival horror shooter. Oh, and don't forget to bring a friend for zombie fodder, er, we mean multiplayer experience!
Railbreak melds a classic on-rails arcade experience with the cutting edge Unreal Engine 5. In this prelude to Outbreak: Shades of Horror, you'll get an opportunity to see the sights and sounds of Cypress Ridge and get chomped on by a zombie or four! Face the city alone, or bring a friend along with optional 2-player co-op supported across the entire game
Featuring a wide cast of survivors each with their own loadouts and traits, you'll find plenty of replayability in this absurd take of a survival horror game in a survival horror game. A full story mode experience awaits across six scenarios. Bonus modes include Score Attack, and the endless Onslaught Mode that keeps ratcheting up the difficulty until the undead finally seal your fate, as well as Boss Rush, the Shoutout Shootout, and the rogue-like semi-procedurally generated Glitch Gauntlet where anything can happen!
Crack open your piggy bank, snag a fizzy soda, and take a trip back to the 1990’s arcade.

funciona expectacular con OpenFIRE
Buon clone di House of Dead , railshooter molto ben riuscito. Alcuni zombie ricordano gli zombie speciali di Left4dead e WWZ, altro genere a me molto gradito.
No. Just no. It is bad. If you want a good game in this genre then better buy Blue Estate instead.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Took some fiddling to get Steam Deck triggers to work, but the game itself is amazing. Set the right trigger as the left mouse click, and follow CMM's settings guide, and you'll be gold.
Pretty cool old school light gun style shooter. As of this review... i do not have Sinden Light Guns... YET. But even with a mouse its still quite fun :) I genuinely feel like these folks were in love with the light gun / rail shooter genre and wanted to just bring an accessible, fun entry into the modern world. If you dig these type of things it's an easy buy. If youre curious, give it a shot ;)
10/10 one of the best rail shooters ive had played in a hot mintue and the game runs great on steam deck.
I actually thoroughly liked this game! Just needs a bit more variety in the environments! I would love a sequel! And maybe add some collectales ala house of the dead gold coins or RE blue coins. Polish up the menus a bit and give me some basic cutscenes....this game immediately improves. Good game if you are from the era of House of the Dead, Virtua Cop, Sega days.
Pretty fun moder-day rail shooter. The difficulty level on normal isn't too high, and seasoned rail shooter players should be able to blast their way through the main game in a couple of hours. I found it harder to see than the classic arcade rail shooters, with darker environments and bursts of light. It really helps that attacking enemies and items (and civilians) have bright outlines. Also, color plays a part (different colored herbs, different color outlines for friends vs. foes), so if you have no color vision like me, you're at a slight disadvantage. Still very beatable. It did seem like those civilians have areal death wish, actively trying to get in the way of your bullets a lot more than in the old games. Not that there's a severe penalty for wasting a few. The voice acting and dialogue are fun and humorous, the conceit of a glitchy game within a game is played out well, and the action is fast and bloody. Recommended for rail shooter fans, but NOT at the full price. I got it for four or five dollars on sale and consider it money well spent.
it reminds me of house of he dead over kill great play length too you won't be sorry a arcade like clissic
