Neat idea, but has baffling issues: Disabling screen shake works for smacking gnomes, but not for clicking the pouch (which is the one I found more annoying). All settings are reset on prestige, which is annoying on a lot of levels. No way to turn off button sounds but not ghost sounds - getting the clue to minimise the tech tree can get difficult when you hear hundreds of clinks per second. On prestiging the fourth time, you are told about new items in the shop (again), despite no new addition from then on. Overall, feels like ideas were added to the todo list, but only half implimented and not tested.
it's an okay game, just don't click "play" if it's your second time launching game unless you want all your progress deleted with no confirmation. My negative review is for having progress reset on me due to that, as well as the settings not saving at all. But it's not a horrible game, those things just left a sour taste in my mouth and i cant bring myself to restart.

Buttons Up! is a short incremental clicker/idle game about getting buttons to unlock more buttons. The concept of the game is pretty simple, and I was able to beat one run in less than 1.5 hours (and all achievements in <3 hours). The gameplay loops is pretty interesting at first, but it does grow old kind of fast. Until you get some later upgrades, you actually do need to pretty actively playing due to potentially losing earned button values from gnomes stealing them. The prestiging in the game is also not super well done, as all it does is unlock 1 new upgrade every time (up to 4 times). However, putting those faults aside, the game is also only $1 (sub $1 on sale), and honestly I had a good time for the first 1-2 hours to justify this pricepoint. If you are looking for a incremental idler game with deep upgrade trees and replayability, this game falls far short of that. However, if you are looking for a game that costs less than a McDonald's cheeseburger to give you an hour or two of fun... this game is for you.
So-so. Can't really complain for $0.84 but the rebirths/prestiges are meh. Initial gameplay loop was kind of fun but the feeling falls flat pretty quickly. It's not terrible but don't expect more than ~3h out of it
changing settings does no ♥♥♥♥
It was aight. I went buck wiyood with this one but I should have been spending time with the wifee and chiyoods, so it obviously hooked me, but left me slightly unsatisfied, though I did get all the achievements and get a thrill up my spine when I see that in my library. I know I achieved something, and it gives me some inertia to be able to get up when my alarm goes off, journal, and go to the gym. That's worth something.
Short and sweet little incremental game! Was fun!
Es un juego cortito, pero muy entretenido, entre recoger botones y matar gnomos, la verdad que no te aburres. Y cuando lo terminas te da la opción de seguir y desbloquear nuevas mejoras. Game Complexity: Short idle game. Game Difficulty: Very easy. Achievements Complexity: Unlock and max out the power ups. Achievements Difficulty: Very easy and you will need 4 playthroughs to complete them all.
Honestly its your bog standard idle clicker style game. it doesnt do much differnt. that said, if you're a fan of these types of games you'll enjoy this one. Its nothing outstanding, but its also not terrible. The main issue is just a couple of minor bugs that are more of an annoyance than an impedement. but im sure they will be fixed at some point by the devs.
