Bluffing lies at the heart of the strategic experience. RUSE are special cards you can activate at any moment to influence enemy perception, reinforce your troops, or gain crucial intelligence. They provide unprecedented gameplay depth, transforming every engagement into a duel of wits and bluff.
RUSE cards are divided into four major categories:
Reveal Information (decryption, espionage)
Conceal Information (radio silence, camouflage)
Create Decoys (dummy units, false offensives)
Alter Unit Behavior (blitz, terror)
By combining these cards, you'll orchestrate complex strategies and turn the tide of battle.
In R.U.S.E, each faction embodies a great power of World War II, bringing its own units, specificities, and playstyles. Choosing a faction means adopting a different strategic approach, tailored to your preferences and personality as a strategist.
United States: Versatility and industrial might.
Germany: Quality and firepower.
France: Resilience and defense.
United Kingdom: Air power and artillery.
USSR: Quantity and durability.
Italy: Speed and mobility.

Good

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Quien te conoce AoE? Aguante R.U.S.E papá no me importa nada
W Eugen Systems for bringing this back
Back and better, got the DLC for free when re-released as well
Such a great RTS. So glad it's back. Hopefully they drop some more content.
I remember seeing this game way back as a kid and wanting to play it but I never got to. Hearing it's back and with great reviews to match, I'm glad to have gotten to try it now, it absolutely holds up. I've played a fair amount of "newer" strategy titles similar to this one - not quite grand strategy? Slow paced, "realistic" strategy warfare? I don't know, but you get what I mean from looking at the screenshots. After playing this one I'm just surprised to see it's a game from 2010, almost certainly genre-defining for the time. The AI is even smarter and more reactive than a lot of those newer titles. At the same time, the game is very easy to learn, relatively speaking; units are well-defined in what they're good at without much redundancy within each faction, with a soft rock-paper-scissors system that is heavily influenced by the tactics you can employ, both in the unspoken ones like positioning and the concrete ones like, yes, the Ruses. The game I think gets away with this unit simplicity by the wrenches you can throw into matters via the ruses. In other, similar games, the things that would take the spot of those ruses would be things like air support and artillery call-ins, but here, those are all units. They cost resources to build and they can be killed, but keep them alive and they are a persistent, infinite force. Instead ruses directly interact with one of the most core systems to strategy games that, strangely, almost no strategy game bothers to play around with: intel. Unit visibility, decoys, unit commands; it's extremely satisfying to preemptively prepare a strategy for an attack you see coming, or to watch the enemies scramble to defend a flank that is being attacked by an army of smoke and mirrors, or to land a massive volley of surprise attacks from a seemingly open area. It adds a depth that would perhaps be too much or would be overshadowed in a more complicated unit system, but slots in very, very nicely here. Undoubtedly a title worth playing for any fan of strategy games.
great game !!!!
