With a variety of perk rolls and game rules, you can create a unique experience each time you play!

A massive immersive sim world where you choose how you engage with problems and threats. With a mix of tense gun-play, diverse sets of tools and equipment, and no scripted solutions or hand-holding:
You are in-charge of your own decisions!
You are responsible for your own mistakes...

Delve into dark, hidden dungeons.
Navigate treacherous Anomalies.
Face hideous monsters born of a cursed past.

In The Exclusion Zone, you're not always just a hired gun, you're also going to need to apply detective skills and deductive reasoning to find answers...
Complete Contracts and Missions by exploring the world, chasing leads and finding clues! Sometimes the truth can be stranger than any anomaly or mutant...

Among the many mysteries of the Zone, there are also powerful artifacts.
They can grant passive buffs, or when charged with Eather, cast seemingly magical effects.
Some can even be crafted into exotic firearms, allowing you to exploit their secrets in combat!
Be careful, you're not the only one hunting out here...

Be prepared to discern friend from foe out in the field!
Several factions are vying for power out in the Zone. Some looking to control its secrets, others seeking to destroy the very source of its anomalies.
It's up to you to decide who you're willing to work with, or even join should they convince you...

Simply peak, it's all I've really wanted <3
The game undoubtably "Gets" what makes the stalker trilogy so much fun to play. The large, open levels punctuated with bone-grating underground 'dungeons' filled with loot, wandering squads of NPCs with goals that frequently don't involve the player, and a mountain of guns ranging from rusty blasters to actual laser guns will leave you hungry for your next upgrade until you finish your playthrough. I cannot stress enough how good this map design is. Unfortunately, that massive map is also the downfall of the game, because without a doubt the art is the weakest aspect. Point blank, this game looks like an asset flip. Everything is low poly, flatly shaded, and as painfully generic as $5.99 on the unreal store can buy. The models that are handmade look good, with a weird psudeo late 20th century setting that is a perfect fit for a stalker-like but they are few and far between in a sea of old sedans, green wardrobes, and military crates you've seen a thousand times before. Building interiors in the cities are especially guilty of this, with many rooms left completely empty aside from a pair of lonely green crates. The AI is unfair, wallhacking, quick to shoot and quicker to kill. If you're a stalker fan, you're right at home. Mash your head against the wall for an hour until you start finding the cracks in the algorithms, then use those exploits to raid the refinery with nothing but the starting pistol. Enemies are Fine for what they need to do for the gameplay loop but I do find myself missing the weird situations a proper a-life system would cause in the stalker games that so clearly inspired this. The story is one aspect that is already putting stalker to task even while the game is in beta. If you're a Lore Enjoyer, you have a lot to dig into and what's here is good. More than serviceable, the stories and lore contained within this setting are a love letter to the soviet fantastika that spawned this genre. Tragically, the only place discussion of this story takes place is the game's discord, which has locked all lore discussion in moderators-and-friends-only channels for explicitly gatekeeping reasons. Childish behavior, but the actions of discord moderators shouldn't affect a review of the game itself. TL;DR: Mixing a modern take on soviet fantastika with a modern take on the STALKER trilogy's gameplay, Project Silverfish is greater than the sum of it's parts even in early beta. One of the rare early access games worth every penny.

i love being shot at by fanatics, insurrectionists, the military and chased by horrors beyond my comprehension :DDDDD
This might be one of my favorite games of all time, honestly I don't have words to describe how fantastic its lighting is, its terrifying in the best way possible. there's a lot of good challenge and its overall fantastic. if I had the money i would buy it again just to support the devs because ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is it fantastic. best 30 dollars I've ever spent on a game.
"It's getting late, I'll save and quit at the next safe area" Narrator: They then proceeded to play for another 5 hours passing through four different safe zones without quitting until outside the window became bright for some strange, indescernable reason.
If Misery and Fallout had a baby this would be it. Great combat mechanics, more content would be amazing and dev is working on it last I checked. Excited for the future of this game
