Excellent. It's obviously not finished, but if you're not bothered by the incomplete story and quest lines, there's enough here to more than justify AAA pricing, so it's a complete steal. A wonderfully tense roadside picnic, which runs flawlessly, and Perdition was so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good I want to wipe my memory and start the game over.

Absolutely incredible, and easily worth the price. I got it on a whim when the imsim itch flared up, and suddenly it was sitting amongst my all time favorites. It's still unfinished and rough around the edges, especially in terms of the story and quest progression, but the basic gameplay loop and worldmap is rock solid. I've been able to squeeze dozens upon dozens of hours of fun out of a WIP early access game, so regardless of whether it ever gets finished, I believe I have gotten my money's worth. If you are a fan of the STALKER series, open-world RPGs, or ImSims, or just have an appreciation for atmosphere and creativity, I highly recommend giving this one a try. My only gripes with the game so far that I think are fair to point out (complaining about the clearly unfinished parts in an EA game seems unfair): 1. Intermediate assault rifle dominance. This is an issue with a lot of games that try for realistic combat, admittedly, and goes to show why they are the dominant type of smallarms IRL as well. But in the context of the game, I always felt like assault rifles were a bit too convenient overall. Because they have low weight, decent ballistics, more ammo available, and said ammo is relatively light, they just end up being the all-round best option for almost any engagement. In CQB they are just as effective as SMGs, and at medium-distance they are just as effective as Battle Rifles. It also doesn't help that they have more unique ammo types available to them than almost any other weapon class (aside from shotguns), meaning their tactical flexibility is even further enhanced. I would really, really, really love it if it was feasible for me to do a dedicated SMG/Battle rifle run, but as it stands I'd just be better off running two different assault rifles. 2. Humanoid VS monster threat levels. There's a bit of a disconnect between how dangerous the liminal abominations of the Zone are, versus Joe Schmo with a FAMAS. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the creative designs of all the game's monsters, especially the Angels and Knights; but the actual threat posed by most of these fellas is about 1/10th that of a random squad of grunts. Given how rare it is to run into something like a NotDeer, I feel like the threat they pose should be proportional. 3. Rifle ammo naming. Okay, this is just me being dumb, admittedly. But the game is set (as far as I can tell) in an alternate Europe, where you are literally fighting against Evil NATO, and yet the full-power rifle ammo is labeled as 30.06. Which was the default rifle/machinegun cartridge used by the United States during the first half of the 20th century, up until the 1950s. NATO standardized on the 7.62x51mm as their rifle and MG caliber, so shouldn't that be the ammo we find in game? The in-game intermediate cartridges are literally labeled 5.56, (i.e. the NATO-standard intermediate round), so why is the rifle ammo not 7.62 NATO? That's about all I've got. I am ever so eagerly looking forward to the day when this game is completed, but even as it stands I am more than happy with what we have on offer already.

Absolutely loving the gameplay so far. Combat, movement and stealth, anomalies all feel really good. The only suggestions I have are a couple of QoL features like being able to add markers to the map to highlight points of interest as well as maybe the ability to apply markers to items for easier blueprint or barter tracking. As much as I know Multiplayer is a pain to integrate should development allow it I think it'd bring a lot of fun as well as more tactical options into the world. Even if it doesn't recieve such the game is still absolutely worth trying and just immersing yourself in!
"Why is it 5am? I just started the game!"
- Factions should be other races not all the same furries - Guns are detached - Seperate the ambient audio channel from the SFX channel - Lower the price - Fix the visual art style to something less "motor town behind the wheels"
it just crashes after loaing into the 3 part of the map, so ima wait for more updates i guess..
