This is the perfect way to live out your life as a corrupt and possibly racist prison guard if that's your cup of tea. I love working with the inmates to smuggle in drugs.

Nun....
Prison Simulator Prologue lets you live the dream of being a **totally underpaid prison guard** on the day everything goes to hell. It’s a free standalone prequel where your baton, your nerves, and the fire sprinklers are all equally overworked. You clock in thinking: > “Another boring shift, search some cells, yell at some inmates.” Five minutes later: > The yard’s on fire, benches are flying, and Chad from day shift “lost his keys.” --- ### Pros: * Free to play, which is good because the prison budget clearly went to riot damage and not your salary. * First-person “guard sim” lets you do the basics: roll call, searches, yelling, shooting, and pretending you’re in control. * Prisoners are written to be absolute goblins: constantly mouthing off, starting fights, and turning the canteen into a WWE arena. Atmosphere: achieved. * New events, routines, and weapon mechanics just for the prologue, plus a riot storyline that *isn’t* in the full game, which feels like paid DLC but somehow isn’t. --- ### Cons: * “Police baton might not be enough” is dev-speak for “this is a shooting gallery by the end, good luck.” * Every time you think you’ve restored order, someone sets something else on fire like it’s a team-building exercise. * Inmates: sitting for murder, theft, and arson. You: sitting for bad life choices in career selection. * You will absolutely fail a negotiation and immediately pretend you “wanted to try the combat path anyway.” --- ### Peak Prologue Moments: * Trying to walk the cell block like a professional and instantly getting beer-bottle-physics’d by a plastic chair. * Marching into the yard to “calm things down” while 30 dudes are reenacting a battlefield documentary. * Realizing halfway through that you are not playing a power fantasy—you’re playing “first day on the job in the worst possible prison.” * Beating the prologue and thinking: “Yeah… I kinda *do* wanna do this again.” --- 8.5/10 It’s short, messy, and full of yelling—like a very interactive HR violation. Would grab the baton, lose control of the situation in 0.3 seconds, and blame my coworkers’ “lost keys” again.
[h2]I've always dreamed of kicking ass at prisoners and cops!
