I like it. It scratches that retro itch. My complaint is I can’t remap the controls. Ugh. This is a must for all games.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great game. This soundtrack is through the roof. So much good stuff here. Graphics are great to look at. Game is a challenge too. If you like retro anything, grab it.
Put Contra, Megaman, some traces of Robocop 3 between others, and some Kurt Russel into a blender and you may have this incredible piece of entertainment.
Awesome game! If you grew up with an NES or Master System - or probably some of those 8-bit Micros too - you should play this game. In other words, if you need reading glasses, buy this.
Prison City is a 2D Retro Action Platformer about "Hal" a special agent sent out on a mission to defeat the wardens around the city and destroy their plans. The game offers over 9 different zones each with their unique palette design and enemies. The platforming sections will really keep you on your toes with this one, lots of traps and pitfalls that you have to be wary of. The levels also offer secret upgrades that you can get stronger with in order to defeat your foes. Solid controls and responsive combat system that you will definitely enjoy. The music soundtracks for each zone is very well composed and I really loved it, the retro 8-bit classic music that is known since the childhood days, the devs really didn't disappoint with this one. The boss fights can be tough if you're not timing your jumps / slides correctly and you can get killed very quick if you're not careful. The designs were super nice and has really some unique ideas!! It's a very recommended 2D Retro Action Platformer for the fans of the genre or if you love retro action in general. Overall Rating 10/10
I admit I was captivated by cool OST but the game did not work out for me, Problem 1 - platforming I am not good at grappling. I can forget to press a key so character can grab a rail or fence. But OK that my fault. At least I dont have to keep pressing "hang" key to shoot or move Problem 2 - weapons. Chakram? CHAKRAM? You pulled me out of retirement for a dangerous mission -battle Techno-Terr0rists and give me Chakram and grenades? How about a gun or rifle? Well at least thats not a whip. Yes, you can tell me that Power Blade (which seems to be an inspiration for Prison city) also used chakrams. Well, I watched the playthrough of Power Blade Power blade: You throw 2-3 chakrams that fly far an deal much damage Prison city: Enemy is 1 meter away, you throw like 15-25 chakrams per second and each of them deal like 0.25 HP damage Thats not how you fight enemies. Please dont tell me that I need to find chakram upgrades to make it better. YOU want me to find Terr0rists - YOU give me a good weapons If you are so poor to afford even a Submachine Gun or an Assault Rifle then at least give me the DECENT chakrams that fly fast and far and deal damage. Otherwise dont even think of calling me! Hal out!
Great game that hangs with the classics.
This game is super saucy. Highly recommend checking this out if you're a fan of old school side scrolling action!
Awesome visuals and chiptunes, the rest is mediocre at best.
