Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Latest in each market: best UK #79, worst BR #94 · 5 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.71/day in the week to Aug 26 → 11.14/day in the week after.

Prison Architect was once a genuinely fun and addictive game. Unfortunately, Paradox Interactive took over after its original release and has since treated it like many of its other titles: squeeze as much money as possible out of the player base through an endless stream of DLCs while leaving serious bugs unfixed. Anyone familiar with Paradox's business model knows exactly what that means. Players get milked like cows, with content split into countless paid expansions—sometimes for additions as laughably small as different uniform colors. Meanwhile, the actual game becomes increasingly unstable. One particularly infuriating bug regularly causes employees to get stuck in the staff room while holding food trays near the serving tables. They simply stand there indefinitely instead of eating, resting, or returning to work. Once enough staff members get stuck, essential parts of the prison stop functioning properly. The result is a management game in which your prison can collapse not because of poor planning, but because the staff AI is completely broken. There is no reliable permanent fix. You can move furniture, rebuild rooms, change layouts, remove serving tables, or create separate staff canteens, but these are temporary workarounds at best. The bug eventually returns. A game that depends entirely on working pathfinding, staff behavior, and resource management becomes borderline unplayable when employees repeatedly freeze while carrying food trays. I previously said that Prison Architect itself was still worth playing despite Paradox's increasingly obvious cash-grab business model. At this point, I can no longer recommend it. A good game has been buried under DLCs, technical problems, and bugs that should have been fixed long ago. So thank you, Paradox, for taking a good game and making it practically unplayable. But hey, at least you managed to release a pile of DLCs and charge players for every tiny addition while the basic game mechanics continue to break. I am honestly sick of this company and the way it treats both its games and its customers.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fun game, but suddenly I can't play it because the launcher fails...
прикольно можно навального держать
there are a lot of bugs and the escape mode is half-baked, but since there are no further updates, you learn to shove yourself into a mindset of "it's not a bug anymore, it's now an intentional obstacle since it's not getting fixed anyway". arguably that would make this a bad game, but honestly personally it just gives you more problems to solve in exceedingly stupid ways. trying to investigate your guards but your ci isn't getting into the chief's office properly? sure i'll just temporarily expand the office by two squares lol aside from the bugs, it's just crack. you can and will get stuck playing it for about six hours. do not let the positive recommendation fool you. if you want something casual to play then this is not it
Çok oynamadım ama güzel bir oyuna benziyor
