Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Latest in each market: best UK #79, worst BR #94 · 5 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
Used to be pretty good, but since all the DLC the base game has a lot of bugs, makes it deeply frustrating after you invest time. I suggest turning elsewhere, sadly. A once great game.
It originally was a single game, and was great, got updates, etc... then Paradox Interactive took over as a publisher, and they are notorious for selling loads of additional, small DLC and microtransactions, instead of releasing free updates, or selling everything extra as one major expansion pack. It is a common method to milk customers. Make a game just entertaining enough without quite being fun, so the customer buys the additional pack hoping that it will make the game fun. The pack adds more, but again, is not quite fun enough. It's The Sims 4 method. The original Sims (like 1 and 2, and somewhat 3) had butt loads of content, and were very fun... the expansion packs added a lot of additional content like furniture and such, but didn't really replace the base gameplay. The Sims 4 however is pretty, but they removed lots of the base gameplay experience, and then have been slowly drip feeding content over years, now costing thousands of pounds, unless you sail the seven seas for it. It really was a great game, but my impression has been severely soured by the Paradox 'thousand DLC' model of drip feeding content to try to give you a dopamine hit, and charging for it. It is malevolent, as they are abusing psychology in a nefarious way to get you to keep spending over and over. Just a few pounds here, and there. It might as well be a drug they are selling. I guess it's cheaper than heroin...

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Я как человек прошедший через психушку, рад что здесь можно построить своё ПНД. Но перловой на завтрак кормить нельзя. Хорошо.
İdeal hapishane diye bir amacın peşinde saatler geçirdim, sonuç: hak etmiyorlar
Okay, I suppose. Easy to learn & master, and enjoyable to play. The choppy, awkward escape mode leaves much to be desired, though...
- За что сидишь? - Я ругал Петрова, сел за неуважение к власти. - Понятно. А ты за что сидишь? - А я хвалил Петрова, сел за распространение фейков. - Ясно. А ты за что сидишь? - А я сам Петров.
Hands down the best one with just so much potential wasted. Still has some bugs and game engine problems because the developers are dumb as sh!t but besides that the games great and some of the DLCs can make the game more interesting for a bit. Really wish it didnt get sold to Paradox but thats how it goes ig. Prison Architect 2 is a scam.
I used to love this game. However since the most recent update and added of Paradox Launcher. The game is unplayable. It crashes at startup and there is no fix. I have tried everything. Oddly enough the only thing that works is uninstalling the game and playing a pirated version with every single dlc added. Pretty lame way to develope a game. Only playable if you pirate it...wtf. Guess i wont be buying any dlc until this is fixed.
Recently reinstalled it. Now it has a paradox launcher, a bunch of low effort DLC which it constantly dangles in your face so you are inclined to buy it. Its become a cash cow, I do not recommend it.
Çok oynamadım ama güzel bir oyuna benziyor
