--OVERALL REVIEW-- A lot of people compare this game to the game before it and I can see the reasoning for something like that, however, playing through this game I've slowly realized how much was improved from the original. The sprite art for the enemies seems to have a better visual style and it still works with the old PC game aesthetic presumably based on the Commodore 64 or Atari. An underrated aspect of this game is the improvement with the music, the original had very short looped tracks however, this game improves on this by adding longer tracks and a more consistent soundtrack. The overall visual and audio improvements are clear and they add to the game if you pay enough attention. --BUYERS BEWARE OF THE PRICE-- When I bought this game (at the time of the review) it was $10.00, no idea if this was intentional but I'd like to give a fair warning to anyone that if you do not like the original you may not like this game especially for the bumped price as it used to be $5.00 which was far more fair for what you would be getting, maybe it would be best to wait for a sale.
While I can't say that I loved every second, this game is surprisingly fun for the cost.

cute short game
A cute challenging buletthell shooter with funny characters
This is a conditional recommend! Current price of £8.50 is quite high for 1 to 2 hours of gameplay for a single challenging run. However. Princess Remedy in a world of hurt is free, I played it - loved it and bought this to support the dev as it's style is pretty sweet and it is good fun for a 80's gamer to play :) https://store.steampowered.com/app/407900/Princess_Remedy_in_a_World_of_Hurt/ 8/10 would listen to 8 bit looping tracks through a 7.1 surround system whilst playing a game with 8 bit graphics on a RTX 5080 and think its a good use of my gaming computer again! (do try the other game first though, or buy it on sale - as the price is a wee bit high)
