Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

its not easy but a marvellous game
Mildly recommended. This is the second in the series and is definitely an improvement. The graphics are more appealing and it expands a bit on the gameplay concepts from the first in a good way. The story is nothing special, but moves you along as needed. Shorter than advertised, I got about 3hrs of game time, not sure where the 6+ comes from in the description. All in all, a decent game if you enjoy Hidden Object games, but far from the top tier in the genre.

I wish I could say more, but it was honestly disappointing... I have played the 1st game several times, "Princess Isabella and the Witch's Curse", and you can tell that the quality went downhill in many ways. Character design wasn't the best on the 1st one, but the scenes, puzzles and the story was very well done, and the game overall was pretty much a high-quality one (definitely my go-to for a beautiful and relaxing experience). I wouldn't make a sequel if the outcome was going to be something like this, but I guess it is what it is. The game was short, lacking, and the story quite bland. I wish I could, but I personally do not recommend it.
It's alright. I feel its functionality is a lot better than the first game, though it still has some hiccups. The hint system wasn't always that helpful. Pressing the button would have the helpers indicate the puzzle though if you were missing pieces to that puzzle, it gave no clue on where they were. The text on the map was so hard to read, especially the key. Being able to mute the helper outside of turning the sound off was nice. Story was fine for a hidden object. I got it on sale and feel very satisfied with my purchase.
Return of the Curse is on the wrong side of average. The graphics are okay, and the sound is nice, but that's about all. The story is subpar even for the genre. The HOG scenes are mediocre. Dialogue is painful. There are none of the extras that better HOGs have taught us to expect. Most notably, however, it lags, stutters and skips. I can't understand why this should be. HOG games are not very demanding; it should run just fine on a potato. Yet apparently my computer is struggling mightily to run this simple game. Either the coding is terribly unoptimized, or it's cryptomining in the background while I play. Bottom line: this wouldn't even be particularly good if it performed well -- it's definitely not worth enduring the craptastic performance.
Fun HOG, though hints are sometimes useless if you don't know what to do in a room.
My 8 year old daughter loves this game and has enjoyed many hours of fun playing it. The story is interesting and the puzzles not too difficult.
Very nice Point+Click game. Quality Game as expected from Artifex Mundi.
Unplayable
Unable to change resolution to fill the screen. Max setting covered half of a 18" screen. The in-game options do not work, therefore unable to read the small text in the numerous dialogue boxes. The SFX are awful, sounds like a cheap arcade game and the fairy's voice is so annoying. As there's no achievements and the story seems so crappy there's no incentive to resolve the screen resolution problem to continue.
