Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Incredible game, sometimes very easy, sometimes challenging, do yourself a favor and give it a try.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.57/day in the week to Jul 26 → 9.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It’s a great game. The pacing is a bit strange because many parts of the map are blocked at the beginning until you progress through the main story. This often makes you second guess your route and wonder whether you are going in the right direction. The maps are large and full of secrets, so completionists will have a blast. The combat is the most enjoyable part of the game. It is fluid, aggressive, and fast. The game runs pretty well overall. I encountered a few bugs when closing or opening it, including an infinite loading screen, but restarting the game usually fixed the issue. I wish Sargon’s power progression had been more linear. I spent a lot of time wandering around and wondering whether I was in the right place to obtain the ability or item I needed. However, once you unlock most of the powers and abilities, the game opens up and gives you much more freedom. You can return to previously inaccessible areas and fully explore them with your new abilities. I still recommend the game because it is a good time. As for the story, I was not particularly impressed. It feels flat because the relationship between the protagonist and the person connected to the main quest is not properly developed at the beginning. You are doing all of this for someone you do not really care about, and that weakened the story for me. Anyway, have fun playing it.
I had a good time with it, but it's one of those games I'll probably never think about again. It is a very competent Metroidvania, but it also feels a bit like one designed by a checklist. Everything works, yet very little surprised me. The world has some clever level design, but the art direction, story, and characters never clicked. They all feel a little too clean and safe, especially compared to older Prince of Persia games where those elements were some of the series biggest strengths. The beginning is held back by how long it takes to unlock the movement abilities that make exploration fun. Once they open up, movement becomes one of the games highlights. By the end, though, the game starts to feel bloated with too many treasures and collectibles. Ubisoft being Ubisoft, I guess. Combat is enjoyable, but I would have preferred a smaller moveset with more depth instead of constantly unlocking new abilities. Bosses are fun, but many have too many phases and end up lasting longer than they need to. I played the entire game on Steam Deck, and it feels like a perfect fit for a handheld. The Ubisoft launcher and offline mode, however, are still a pain. Overall, it's a good Metroidvania and an easy recommendation for fans of the genre. I just wish it had more of its own identity. Ironically, that's also why it never really felt like Prince of Persia to me.
Love this game! This is the first time playing any 2D Metroidvania game. It has such good platforming and puzzles. I really enjoyed exploring it felt natural. And the setting of the game is just fabulous. Developers have put some really good work into it. The boss fights were not bad either. The background music was okay it wasn't that memorable. There were some bugs out of nowhere, my controller's right trigger stops working, and I have to relaunch the game.. Ubisoft should release more games like this, but sadly there won't be any sequel to this. Still, I am happy that I gave it a try. This is such an easy gateway for anyone who wants to get into Metroidvania games. (9.5/10)
Edit: JFC ONE OF THE BOSS FIGHTS HAS A BUG WHERE DODGING OR PARRYING OPENS YOUR MAP. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. By the numbers metroidvania with some genuinely fun platforming and puzzles kinda dragged down by its sloppy, arbitrary combat system that is kind of the worst of both worlds. It lacks precision, but you still just kind of muddle through everything anyway. Enemy dodges, parries, and blocks are more or less random and just automatically work; sometimes they...just don't do it? and you win? Being able to dodge through enemies or not is inconsistent. If you and/or the enemy can pass through terrain is inconsistent. Some enemy hitboxes are waaaaay bigger than their weapons. There's a ton of 'gotcha!' instant teleports/off-screen/zero telegraph attacks. One of the most effective ways to defeat enemies is to simply incapacitate them with the incredibly finicky air-juggling system - managing your fall speed, their fall speed, your distance, how much your attacks are displacing you and them is a tedious chore; either you are missing because they're *just* out of reach, or you are hitting them and they just can't do anything, either way it's boring. The special parry system is pretty cool. The talisman system seems like they just did it because Hollow Knight did it, the bonuses are uninteresting and unimpactful for the most part. The Immorals fights are some of the worst bossfight design I've ever experienced. The moves have no consistency, so you can't learn them, you just healing pot your way through the fight and eventually you win. It's crazy. There are other boss fights in the game that are well designed and interesting I have no idea why they specifically made the Immortals fights so bad (not to mention the tedious and time consuming 'anime' moves constantly triggering during them).
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is one of the best Metroidvania games I have played. The movement and combat mechanics feel smooth, the anime-style boss fights are incredible, and the story kept me interested until the end. I also played the DLC and loved the extra challenge it added. Every boss fight felt exciting and rewarding. An easy recommendation.
2 Bugs mayores que bloquean el continuar la historia, nunca me habia pasado antes, pesimo trabajo de ubisoft se me quitaro las ganas de seguir jugando
