In Prey, you awaken aboard Talos I, a space station orbiting the moon in the year 2032. You are the key subject of an experiment meant to alter humanity forever – but things have gone terribly wrong. The space station has been overrun by hostile aliens and you are now being hunted.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 15: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I enjoyed this for the most-part however had a few issues with sequence breaking (e.g. the game tells me to do something I already did), and the graphics looked a bit strange at times. Worth playing if you like Bioshock, System Shock, Deus Ex, or Dishonored.
100/10 ABSOLUTE CINEMA
Игра понравилась, но были пару багов, которые не давали продвинутся дальше по сюжету, пришлось затратить больше времени и нервов чем надо было...
A very decent immersive horror shooter-looter, with an excellent story and complete freedom of action that directly impacts that story.
This is probably the magnum opus of the immersive sim genre. While I prefer the design philosophy of other immersive sims more in some departments, Prey is the most comprehensive, accessible, and quite frankly, beautiful expression of the genre. Like all good immersive sims, it manages to make you feel like a pawn in the world, trying to understand the nature of everything through your own conclusions, and then to try and take this knowledge to master this world to your capabilities. What surprises me most is how Arkane seems to have actually learned from all their past games and distilled it into a perfected formula. It offers a lot more nudges for casual players, while not having the immersion-ruining self-narration they went for in Dishonored 2. so it kinda sucks that this studio was killed because their owners decided to force the narrative immersive sim developers to instead make a live-service looter-shooter game. It makes you feel smart for being smart, and it rewards you massively (sometimes eliminating the need to do certain things at all) for finding unique ways to solve problems, which is a core principle of this genre. My only non-spoiler criticisms are the clipping issues which can trap you (like on MOST STAIRS), and how collisions are extremely random in the damage they deal (i've been killed from dropping something). You can also cheese enemies by literally clipping out of bounds in some areas. The AI is also somewhat buggy and will make you want to avoid them more often then not. The second half of this game is basically you discovering
(and sort of becoming a part of)
two doomed yuri B-plots and it's so peak
even though it was very short for me since I psychoshocked the guy almost IMMEDIATELY.
. Jokes aside, this game is so good that even those people don't criticize the game for making you play as a lesbian woman if you choose Female Yu, and I think that says something about how we often can put ourselves in dissonance over media we connect with.
underrated classic
9/10. Gem. Download Prey Luma Sharpen mod. Even on 4k you'll see jaggies without Luma.
