In Prey, you awaken aboard Talos I, a space station orbiting the moon in the year 2032. You are the key subject of an experiment meant to alter humanity forever – but things have gone terribly wrong. The space station has been overrun by hostile aliens and you are now being hunted.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Tisíce otravných a zdlouhavých monologů, monotónní úkoly a respawn nepřátel pořád dokola... Prvních pár hodin dobrý, pak už nuda.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 15: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

Amazing game but still to this day SO many quests are bugged it ruins what would have been something amazing.
1000% aprooved xD
Uninteresting gameplay. Too many functions you are expected to use. The game is either too easy or too difficult.
Spiritual successor of System shock games and Dishonored series. Inspired by OG immersive sims in general. If you even slightly like the genre this is must play. Good story and characters, unique combat, OST is pretty good. Atmosphere is exceptional. The design of locations and enemies is really good.
Prey is one of the best games I have ever played. What makes it special is the freedom. The game constantly gives you problems and lets you solve them your own way. Some players use psychic powers, stealth or creative tricks. I chose the human path: shotgun, wrench, hacking, engineering and lots of aggression. Talos I is an incredible setting to explore, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the story kept me interested from start to finish. Most importantly, the combat is genuinely fun and impactful, something I felt was missing in games like System Shock. I came for a sci-fi shooter and found a masterpiece.
Honestly a very underrated game, it even went under my radar when it first released. The easiest way to describe it is that it is more or less the closest continuation we have of System Shock/Bioshock, which makes sense as the original name was going to be Psychoshock. It is definitely it's own game though and may even be the best game in the Immersive sim genre, with a whole lot of different creative ways for you to solve various obstacles from big to small. For example, to get access to a locked security booth you could: -Hack the keypad -Stack some heavy crates to climb on top -Shoot the door unlock button through a hole in the booth with your foam darts -Use your mimic ability to turn into a coffee cup and roll through the opening, -Use your gloo gun to make platforms to get on top and drop through the vent on the roof. -Or just finding the right keycard/code to the door. And this is probably not even all of them. The game rewards creative use of your various tools and abilities. The artstyle and architecture is also fantastic with a rather unique retro art deco theme mixed with a cleaner sci-fi lab style. The story is also interesting with plenty of moral choices and twists. My only real complaint is that the game does overstay it's welcome near the final few hours, having you run back and forth a lot. I still think it is very much worth it, and you should check it out if you enjoyed the original Bioshock. I'd almost go so far as to say it may be Arkane's best game.
Immensely fun, scifi as hell, lotta good plot and storylines to follow for tasks, the guns are fantastic and replayable (to me at least)
