Preserve is a puzzle nature-building game that takes players on a journey into a harmonious ecosystem. The objective is to foster and sustain a thriving and diverse biomes, where each component coexists in a symbiotic harmony. By utilizing strategic thinking and a keen eye for balance, players are granted the power to position a wide array of plants and animals, curating an environment that caters to their preferences and aspirations.
In Preserve, you can expand the map not only horizontally, but you also posses an ability to stack layers of nature, forming a vertical network of interconnected habitats.
From alpine forests and savannas to carribean reefs, each biome will have its own unique set of plants, animals, and environmental challenges to discover and overcome.
Besides regular harmony and puzzle game modes, creative mode lets you build the land without limitations and photo mode allows you to capture and share your creations at the end of each session.
Nothing can beautify your map more than natural wonders like the snowy Alps, lavender fields or redwood forests, which you can acquire thanks to a unique Card Upcycle System

Good puzzler. It tickles the brain just right and really helps to Zen out. Every biome has it's own little gimmick to help get the score up, and all of them feel both unique enough to remain interesting, but similar enough to not cause frustration. It isn't a game that's going to hold your attention for long though. I found myself playing one or two maps, before closing out. What I will say though is that the base game is reasonably enough priced. 12.50$ for 12 puzzles, is pretty alright, especially with how simple the game is and the very limited sound track. Asking 5$ for an extra 3 maps, however is a bridge too far for me personally. I won't be buying the DLC, but I did enjoy the game and felt it worked out great. On a final note, I would have rather gotten another biome instead of the creative mode that was placed into it.

Fun biome puzzle game, with puzzles and it's difficult but achieveable. Love it!
This is a super fun tile puzzler, with just the right amount of difficulty and game length to skirt that line between mindless and frustrating. Getting a bronze medal is reasonable if you know the basic mechanics, silver takes a bit of thinking, and gold will have you counting tiles and planning ahead like mad (every terrain hex is 19 tiles big btw). Some of the biomes take a bit of unintuitive placement to get the 'trick' for reaching gold consistently. Get it, get the DLC, it's all good.

On one hand Preserve is a reasonable attempt at a simple puzzle game with environment creating gameplay. Unfortunately, it's pretty shallow and vapid. I feel like I was left wanting more and Preserve never really followed through.
