TL;DR: Very bland gameplay, sound, and animation. The game's concept is great: A rock band fighting off demons with the power of music, and the lore in the intro makes things look damn amazing. I went through the first boss to get a feel for the game and unfortunately just got bored by it. The art style and character/enemy models are absolutely fantastic, but the animations make no use of any of it, at least I couldn't see any different animations for any attacks or enemy deaths. Likewise the music, a core element of the game, is just very basic, even on the boss fight. As far as the gameplay is concerned, nothing stood out either. The character's differences feel minimal, you do have your shielder/healer/debuffer/attacker but even with that it all feels very same-y.
Well don't expect the world from this storywise, just enjoy the vibe it brings. It's obviously closely inspired by Slay the Spire, but is clearly it's own thing and turned out quite enjoyable. -> Having four characters instead of one freshens up the dynamic in a good way. -> The overall game is easier than Slay the Spire, but still challenging enough to be enjoyable (if you struggle and need help hit me up ;) -> There are a LOT of viable builds in lower Distortion levels (=Ascension in StS), which is very fun. It grants insane power trips (Killing the endgame boss before it gets a turn isn't all that rare - getting it down in 2-6 rounds is rather normal) -> Higher Distortion levels require you to play the better characters and use good combos you found while ascending, which is how it should be imho. Got through the ascensions in about 85 hours as you have to do at least 21 runs and one run can take 2-3 hours. So you get plenty of game time enjoyment for the price. Even at -20% sale it's already a decent to good buy. Get a 50% and it's a steal.

DONT BUY like I know this is harsh but there are a lot of games that are just so much better. This game does nothing good and is RNG heavy af with no real sense of progression. Just play Slay the Spire or Monster Train
Great game from it's genre with attitude and heavy metal and demons.
I do enjoy the game. Very cool concept. Keep it up.
We need the Chinese language!!!
Not a bad Slay the spire type of game. Its pretty solid and i enjoyed it. The only real downside is that the game play is slowed by how many characters there are. It is regularly 4 allies vs 4 enemies so you have to sit and think carefully every turn which enemy to attack and which character to buff. You can't just fly through combat.
画风精良的杀戮尖塔摇滚乐队版。 不用中文其实也很好上手。 喜欢摇滚朋克音乐主题故事+手绘党可以打折入
The sound design is great, and the overall style matches what the game promises. I might be biased, but after I played "NSR: no straight roads", where the whole "We'll rock the city with our rock!" is followed by EDM in the background with no rock by a long shot, not getting lied in the face feels nice.
Having more fun than I thought I would. I love the aesthetic and card types. Different stylings of characters is thrilling too. Granted it is an RNG heavy Roguelike, but isn't that the point? My first couple runs ended with me getting utterly bodied, but then the RNG favored me and I had a broken build. It is simply the nature of the game and you deal with it. Love it. Dig it.
