Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 10 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

jogo bom, queria ter desda infância, tanto é que eu baixei a versão pirata, e lembro até um pouco de alguns elementos do jogo, 8 anos depois meu amigo Enzo me deu o jogo, simplesmente agradecido estou e o game é perfeito
Portal Knights is a charming and addictive adventure that blends action RPG gameplay with creative sandbox building in a really satisfying way. Exploring its colourful, procedurally generated islands never gets old—each world feels fresh, full of secrets, dungeons, and fun challenges. The combat is simple to learn but still engaging, especially as you level up, unlock new abilities, and experiment with different classes like Warrior, Ranger, or Mage. One of the game’s biggest strengths is how it balances creativity and progression. You can dive into crafting weapons and gear, build your own base exactly how you want, or just focus on adventuring and defeating bosses—it never forces one playstyle. The visuals are bright and cosy, the music fits the relaxing-yet-adventurous tone, and co-op multiplayer makes the experience even better with friends. Overall, Portal Knights is a great choice for players who enjoy exploration, crafting, and light RPG elements. It’s fun, relaxing, and rewarding, making it easy to sink hours into without feeling overwhelmed.

The game has a surprising amount of depth. I have had an absolute blast playing with my 5 year old (who much of the time I had to carry). The game allows you to mix and match armor and spells from different classes giving a bit of build variety. Late game you can use this to open up some cool movement options not expected for what looks on the surface to be a Minecraft clone. If you are able to make sure to craft Wings and use it alongside the Warriors Leap skill to fly across the map. The Rogue class in the Rogues and Elves DLC is some of the best Rogue game-play I have ever seen.
I always wished Minecraft had a lore, a quest, or a more linear styled gameplay. I never really enjoyed mindlessly mining in hopes of fighting the Enderdragon, only to not find any diamonds or enough enderpearls to make it. Portal Knights was the answer to what I wished Minecraft was. You start off in a tutorial forest (like a floating island) and taught that to explore, you have to craft portals. Much like the ender portals. Combat is extremely simple, kinda like Lego games or Zelda if you had a turbo button for your attack. It's definitely easier which is good for videogame beginners and people like me who just want to relax after a long day. The graphics aren't spectacular but it does have a nostalgic charm emphasized with the addition to its light hearted music. Makes me think of Viva Pinata or other Xbox 360 era games! A lot of the mechanics are straightforward and you can easily find materials without feeling like you've been mining for hours thanks to its scaled down regions. I really love this game because I could just play 5-15 mins of it and it still feels rewarding just doing a quick quest or making a portal for the next region. I appreciate that it never feels like a time sink like many other games these days! I even had this on Switch before getting on Steam! Pros: -Relaxing -Nostalgic Vibes -Good sense of exploration and progress -Can be played with friends -Good for low spec gaming Cons: -Combat can feel too easy or simplistic for some -Druid and Rogue Classes are DLC -Steep price if not bought on sale (I bought this for $3 base edition) Final Thoughts: Definitely worth trying if you like the idea of crafting as a secondary but an RPG as a primary. Also, if you want something easy to just breeze through. Maybe a podcast or some music in the background. Highly recommend grabbing on sale!
I've owned the game since it went into early access in 2016. The graphics are nice to look at and there are (were?) quests available every day. If you're expecting a sophisticated game with class systems and intense battles, you're completely wrong. This game is relaxing and, to be honest, I think it's actually a great game for children aged eight and up. In principle, everything is more cute than scary in any way. Theoretically, there is a lot to do, but it quickly becomes monotonous when you always have to do everything on your own. It's also not Minecraft; apart from the fact that Portal Knights is also built on blocks, that's where the similarity ends. The game is pure relaxation, and if you're not sure whether it's for you, there's bound to be a Let's Play video you can check out. I've never regretted buying it, but it's not something I would play every day. Maybe I'm just too old for it now. But there's only a thumbs up, I can give, it's just too prettily polished.
