About

Twenty years after the devastating eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, Pompeii rises from the ashes. As the head of a Roman family, you will guide the city's rebirth, shaping its future through politics, trade, and the challenges of life in the Empire.

The city may have been destroyed, but its spirit endures. Rebuild Pompeii from the ground up, balancing the needs of patricians, plebeians, and slaves, each with their own ambitions and grudges. Every street, forum, market, and aqueduct shapes not just the city, but the fortunes of your family for centuries to come.

Lead across decades, navigating the shifting tides of Roman politics. Shape laws, negotiate trade rights, and form alliances through marriage or contract. Secure favor with emperors, outwit rivals, and expand your family's influence far beyond Pompeii's walls.

Construct housing, temples, arenas, and more to meet your citizens' needs. Establish trade routes across the Empire, monitor shifting markets, and keep your economy strong. Every decision, good or bad, can echo for generations.

The game incorporates active and passive bonuses through Family Bonuses, Research and Development, and Imperial Privileges. There are two main research branches: Technology and Philosophy.

The greatest threats are not always on the battlefield. Earthquakes, fires, famine, plagues, and political sabotage can strike without warning. Some enemies will wear armor, others will smile as they shake your hand, all will test your leadership.

Nice kinda relaxing game. Recommenden for a 30-hour campaign plus sandbox.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Super chill
Fun for a few bucks. Feels like a single scenario of the old ceasar III game. But the challanges are without deadlines, so the're more like guidelines. The story is as simple as can be, so after figuring out how things work the interest is gone. You can't tweak things exactly how you want them to be, so you play a little more just to finish the story. Expect some 20hours play out of this one, unless you like sandboxing, then you can have some more
Solid city builder, with the vibes from the "old days" (Caesar, SimCity, etc). Since I grew up with such marvels, I was really compelled to check this game out. I am really happy I did. The dev(s?) is really responsive and keeps updating the game. I look forward to all future updates and additions to the game. Happy to have supported this game.
This game is fun. If you have some basic programming skills.
I can't say enough about this game. I love city builders, as well as ancient history, so this really appealed to me. I have played about 7 hours now and continue to enjoy it. The fact that this was all done by a solo developer is astounding. This game will only continue to improve with future updates. The gameplay is easy to understand and satisfying. I am not a big gamer, but I love games where I can sit down and just play to relax and unwind. This is the perfect game for that.
Worth it? In my opinion, yes, about ten hours to complete the fairly interesting story campaign. There are lots of resources to manage, but in reality the system is quite simplified; aside from a few area-specific buildings, many have a global effect. Warehouses are unified, and resources are distributed everywhere. Workers don't need to go home, so distance isn't a problem. Some aspects are underdeveloped, such as the aesthetics of the zones as a parameter. Not a bad thing if you're looking for a less demanding experience. Nice graphics, good music. I like it 7/10. What would I like? A few specific scenarios; the campaign alone lasts about 10 hours. The sandbox mode isn't for me in general.
