Polylithic is a survival game unlike any other, set in the most pivotal moment in mankind's history. Experience life as a Paleolithic hunter-gatherer, settle down as a Neolithic farmer, form tribes in co-op multiplayer, or go it alone in a world where the apex predator is still a distant aspiration.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 22 → 10.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

It's the Stone Age. Humans are not yet apex predators. We are, in fact, quite far down the list. You are a tribe leader. Your job is to take your people from desperate Paleolithic hunter-gatherers to the first permanent settlements of the Neolithic age, laying the foundations for all of human civilization. No pressure.
Along the way, you'll craft the earliest tools in human history, research technologies that separated us from every other species on Earth, build villages, manage a tribe, and navigate a world that is genuinely trying to eat you.
The Polylithic world is vibrant, colorful, and almost entirely indifferent to your survival. Forage for resources across tall forests, snow-dusted hills, and rapids that do not care about your life. Hunt everything from rabbits to mammoths, each one a unique challenge, and each one a reminder that this is, technically, their world too. Seek out other human tribes, or what's left of them, learn from their mistakes, and then don’t do that.
Gather, craft, hunt, cook, and occasionally yell at wildlife; survival in the Stone Age is a full-time occupation. Master an evolving tech tree, experiment with a cooking system that generates recipes with predictably unpredictable results, and keep your body fed, rested, and functional. You can also tame a dog. Or a hyena. Both are loyal. One is slightly more alarming. Either way, companions eat, heal, follow commands, and will absolutely judge your decision-making
Survival alone is one option. The other, the one that actually worked, is forming a tribe. As village leader, you'll manage your tribespeople's needs, grow your settlement, and guide them toward the Neolithic Revolution. They'll work, become Elders, and slowly, improbably, build something that resembles a civilization.
Not everyone will welcome your progress. Enemy tribes have their own ideas about how prehistory should go. Sandbox Mode offers an infinitely generated world for those who prefer to skip the story and cause problems at their own pace. Customize your character (it's the Stone Age, somehow), emote around the campfire, and do your best to make prehistory turn into history.
Bring up to 9 friends into your Stone Age and form your own tribe. Share resources, coordinate hunts, build together, or completely ignore the plan and do your own thing; multiplayer makes every survival story unique, unpredictable, and significantly easier to blame on someone else.

An excellent concept with great soundtrack, graphics and gameplay. Still a few bugs here and there but nothing that detracts terribly from the overall experience. Reminds me quite a bit of the original Subnautica, captures that solitude and ambience quite well. I almost passed it up because so many people were whining about bugs in the reviews, and I'm very glad I didn't. To those people I now say bah humbug and clear skill issue. There's a learning curve here for sure but combat and gameplay are consistent, and it's actually quite refreshing to not have every detail and mechanic spelled out. Excited to see how this evolves and enjoying it thoroughly.
This game is excellent I think. The graphics are decent and rather charming with excellent lighting and shaders. The characters in the campaign have very cool and creative names and outfits. There is limited character customization (which I appreciate both in it being there and being limited that way you will look accurate to the time period). The villages you can build are very cool looking and are accurate to the time period as far as I can tell. I also do very much like the beauty of the terrain and the different biomes; there are beautiful forests, grasslands, savannahs, deserts, and polar/snowy forests. There is a lot to explore and a lot to do, you'll never really be bored with this game. I also rather like the fact that, if you so choose, you may migrate your tribe to another spot on the map, this way you can be nomadic just as [most] people would've been back then. There are also a lot of resources to forage from so you can really lean into the hunter-gatherer lifestyle you are fulfilling (you'll be both hunting and gathering a lot xD). There's also a lot of animals ranging from fish, to aurochs, mammoths, elk, fish, rabbits, wolves, and bears! It's a lot of fun and very detailed I recommend giving this game a try, especially if you like survival games or if you like the Stone Age (both in its hunter-gatherer and agriculture renditions).

Polylithic really exceeded my expectations. The visuals are stunning, the gameplay is genuinely fun, and the controls feel solid and intuitive. I started playing the game in multiplayer, which has virtually no tutorial or explanation. I actually enjoyed the lack of a tutorial - it made the experience feel more immersive and encouraged us to figure things out together. I also really like how the game handles progression. Each building or tool unlocks just a few additional items, so the crafting system never feels overwhelming. I really enjoyed exploring the beautiful biomes, and also the combat system is surprisingly fun and engaging. The only issue I would mention is that there are a few bugs here and there, but nothing that seriously took away from the experience. Overall, definitely worth checking out if you enjoy survival games!
The preface for the game is great and is something I haven't seen done right often, yet obviously due to it being in pre-release it has many bugs which i hope will be fixed in the full release. Along with this the game has some flaws in its item collection such as the lack of easy way to get items such as stalk and rocks (with it not respawning) and the fellow villagers not actually collecting what they are tasked to collect. The game has massive potential and i get that there is a small team behind it, which i commend, yet within a session of 5 hours me and my friend managed to complete all stages of the game and max out progression, so hopefully much more will be added soon! update me in comments!.
Really great experience so far, can't wait to see what else they add. I've only experienced minor bugs but a few were taken care of last patch. I'd really recommend giving this game a shot and seeing what these devs cook up in the future.
If you like to play RPG and dont mind how graphics looks then this is the game for you. I like that you can expand but it takes time and how you can go across the map. Keep iut up cant wait for new things to develop.
Saw this hit 1.0 and hoped it wouldn't be too bad. Combat feels bad. Tried the clubs, have to be hugging the enemy to hit it. Tried the spear, it felt like the range of a punch. Even the enemies seem to miss a lot. Collecting items requires a press and hold of like a half a second of the pickup button. Can't just rapidly pick up sticks, stones, berries, etc. have to press and hold for each one. It feels tedious. Right click changes camera between always following behind the player and being fixed and allowing you to move the mouse cursor around the screen and turn the character any direction without the camera repositioning behind the player. Left click is attack and attacks in the direction of your mouse cursor. If you toggle to fixed, move the mouse to the lower left, then toggle back so the camera is following your character from behind and then try to attack, the character will turn around and face toward the lower left of your screen and attack. This was confusing and just feels bad. In other games with different camera options attacking while the camera is behind/following you makes you just attack directly in front of your character. Game seems like it has a lot of potential, but this feels like an Early Access game.
For the price your getting a fun game. The game play is fun (with a fair amount of cheese) and very addictive. The low poly art style (which might not be for everyone) look good in this setting. It let you live out you caveman fantasy that you might not known you had. This has a game has a get base and I hope that the dev build off it. And since this small dev team listen to feedback and fix bugs that I've encounter in a short time, I'm sure they will.
Really enjoyed playing Polylithic! The game looks beautiful, and the soundtrack fits the atmosphere really well. I played it in multiplayer and had a lot of fun exploring and figuring out how things work on my own. It was a fun little challenge and made discovering things feel really rewarding. Overall, a really lovely game from a small indie studio. I’m definitely going to give the single-player story mode a try as well, and I’m looking forward to seeing what the devs come up with next! :)
I only have about 5 hours of playtime so far, but I already wanted to share my thoughts on discovering Polylithic 1.0. I had never even heard of the game before this new version, and it has honestly been a real surprise and a personal favorite. Whether you play solo or in co-op, the experience is incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. Between exploring a procedurally generated map with a warm and welcoming atmosphere and gradually developing your own Stone Age tribe, Polylithic is definitely worth checking out if you have any interest in this fascinating period of human history. More than anything, this is a game that rewards taking your time. You slowly grow your tribe, explore the world, settle down, and progress at your own pace. So I would recommend not judging it too quickly because of the few bugs that are still present. Give the game some time to show you what it has to offer. Behind those small issues is a genuinely enjoyable and immersive experience, with a beautiful take on this period of human evolution.
