Polylithic is a survival game unlike any other, set in the most pivotal moment in mankind's history. Experience life as a Paleolithic hunter-gatherer, settle down as a Neolithic farmer, form tribes in co-op multiplayer, or go it alone in a world where the apex predator is still a distant aspiration.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 22 → 10.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

It's the Stone Age. Humans are not yet apex predators. We are, in fact, quite far down the list. You are a tribe leader. Your job is to take your people from desperate Paleolithic hunter-gatherers to the first permanent settlements of the Neolithic age, laying the foundations for all of human civilization. No pressure.
Along the way, you'll craft the earliest tools in human history, research technologies that separated us from every other species on Earth, build villages, manage a tribe, and navigate a world that is genuinely trying to eat you.
The Polylithic world is vibrant, colorful, and almost entirely indifferent to your survival. Forage for resources across tall forests, snow-dusted hills, and rapids that do not care about your life. Hunt everything from rabbits to mammoths, each one a unique challenge, and each one a reminder that this is, technically, their world too. Seek out other human tribes, or what's left of them, learn from their mistakes, and then don’t do that.
Gather, craft, hunt, cook, and occasionally yell at wildlife; survival in the Stone Age is a full-time occupation. Master an evolving tech tree, experiment with a cooking system that generates recipes with predictably unpredictable results, and keep your body fed, rested, and functional. You can also tame a dog. Or a hyena. Both are loyal. One is slightly more alarming. Either way, companions eat, heal, follow commands, and will absolutely judge your decision-making
Survival alone is one option. The other, the one that actually worked, is forming a tribe. As village leader, you'll manage your tribespeople's needs, grow your settlement, and guide them toward the Neolithic Revolution. They'll work, become Elders, and slowly, improbably, build something that resembles a civilization.
Not everyone will welcome your progress. Enemy tribes have their own ideas about how prehistory should go. Sandbox Mode offers an infinitely generated world for those who prefer to skip the story and cause problems at their own pace. Customize your character (it's the Stone Age, somehow), emote around the campfire, and do your best to make prehistory turn into history.
Bring up to 9 friends into your Stone Age and form your own tribe. Share resources, coordinate hunts, build together, or completely ignore the plan and do your own thing; multiplayer makes every survival story unique, unpredictable, and significantly easier to blame on someone else.

A very survival based game that's very well thought out by the creators. Do recommend if you like survival games.

Let me start by saying I've only played sandbox mode. Now as it says, there are no instructions in sandbox mode. You are caveman, you try not to die. And to be honest its amazing. As soon as I spawned in I was running from an enemy tribe. After setting up our camp, me and my cousin got jumped by Saber tooth Tigers. 10/10. Of course the game is not without its quirks, so let me just make a list of things I've ran into. The deer will group up in my camp and start fighting each other. My cousin died and his body fell in the water, making it un-retrievable (I don't know if we were doing something wrong but we could not get it). I threw a javelin at a bear and it disappeared. Tribe members will get stuck and I will have to make them assist me and lead them away. Overall not much in the grand scheme of things. However, I do have some personal wishes for this game. Seeing a chicken was kind of off-putting, I was expecting more prehistoric creatures. Reindeers, chickens and bears. Fantastic. The tigers are cool, I have yet to see a mammoth. In terms of content, the 1.0 definitely expanded on what was already in the game. The new cooking system is amazing and works well with the new metabolism system. There are seven or eight ages to progress through which is enough for now and I cant speak on upgrading in 1.0, but before 1.0 I got to level 6 in my camp in just 4 hours. There are no new ages so I am hoping the late game doesn't slow down too much. One reason for me speed-running levels is probably because there weren't many threats, predators were few and far between. It's been quite the opposite in 1.0 so we will see how long it takes this time. As the game is now, I would say go for it. There's plenty of content to make the price tag worth it. I haven't even gotten into base building yet. As a city builder fanatic the fact that I have huts to build and tribesman to keep up with along with trying to survive myself has been a very fun undertaking. Final score: 7/10 Good game with plenty of room for expansion. Devs seem to listen to the players as far as I can tell. As long as they keep up with content updates I can see this being in my top 5 open world survival craft games for sure.
A great game. I had a lot of fun playing it, especially in multiplayer. Visually stunning, probably the most beautiful low-poly game ever. Considering it was made by a small team of indie developers, the gameplay is well-crafted and the performance is also good, I didn't have any issues on an average PC.
Mammoth trap unable to catch mammoths was slight letdown... (I might not have progressed to the real mammoth trap yet)
Lovely prehistoric survival game - you start alone, slowly building your tribe, unlocking knowledge and gathering around the map. There are a lot of animals to hunt, just .... don't rush to kill sabertooth, eh (that's how I died for the first time). Game is freshly out of EA and both community and devs are pretty active (especially at discord server).
