Was excited to give this a go, but after multiple times the game did not boot, black screen and a white cursor - DAM SHAME
This game reminds me too much of Stardew Valley. The art style, the way the town is set up, even the style of the caves, is all too similar. It's okay to take inspiration from other games but it needs to have something else that separates it from the rest.

Before the developer starts introducing some additional elements to make the game more fun, they should focus on the BASICS, for example, it would be nice if the game WORKED AT ALL... The tutorial is terrible - do this and that, without specifics, without explanation, without help with what keys do what. And again - it would be nice if the tutorial WORKED. This one doesn't work - my character was supposed to chop trees and get stones, she had an axe and a pickaxe, but she just stood next to a tree or stones like a pillar of salt and stared at them... I clicked all the keys and no reaction. So I logged out according to the old rule ''try turning it on and off'' [here ''try logging out and logging in''] and... crap. After logging in, the game completly started to give a damn...my character just stands there, there are sounds of movement, but she doesn't move. Great start...
Looked like it had potential, but now abandoned. Get these abandoned games off of steam.
"PlanetSprite" is a very bad idea implemented badly, it's a 2D retro pixel "open world MMO" with nothing to do that's deep in development hell. The developers made a commitment to finish this dumpster fire 4 months ago, and yet here it is, getting mostly empty updates as the developers kick the can down the road on their failure. Think of this as an incredibly weak attempt to recreate Second Life only somehow even worse in all respects. The developers abandoned this ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it, just the developers themselves logging on and hopefully questioning their life choices. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
Nothing to do Stardew valley rip off Hardly a game
No updates in over a year on steam. In-game news made a christmas event post in 2024. Discord link button in the game is expired. Don't waste your time checking this one out.
Not a lot to do at current time but still a neat mmo with a small (but very friendly) community, dev is open to suggestions and has a lot of planned updates. Dunno if I'd fully recommend it at current stage unless you just want an idler, but it'll be cool to check back on in a year or so
Very cute game, I enjoyed it and look forward to see it develop more! :)
