Free idle Multiplayer RPG. Train 20 skills, fight bosses, trade in a living player world.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
PartyScape Chronicles is a free idle RPG about the long haul. Pick something worth training, and your character keeps at it - while the tab is closed, while you are at work, while you sleep.
Twenty skills, and none of them are a progress bar with a different colour. Woodcutting, Mining, Smithing, Fishing, Cooking, Fletching, Thieving, Crafting, Farming, Runecrafting, Enchanting, Tailoring, Herblore, Prayer, Slayer and the full combat set all feed each other. Chop magic logs to fletch the bow you take to a boss. Farm the herbs for the potions that keep you alive. Nothing is grind for grind's sake.
A WORLD THAT IS ACTUALLY SHARED
Every player is in the same world, on the same server, right now. Prices in the Auction House are set by the people playing, not by a table in a config file. Form a party and take on raid bosses together. Duel someone in the arena. Watch a world boss appear and pile in with everyone else online.
FIGHT SOMETHING THAT FIGHTS BACK
Combat is server-authoritative and honest: melee, ranged and magic each have their own gear and their own maths. Forty-nine monsters, from a goblin outside town to bosses that will end a badly prepared run. Slayer tasks send you after specific targets and pay you for the trouble.
BUILT FOR PICKING UP AND PUTTING DOWN
It runs in a browser and on your phone, one account across both - start something on the bus, check it at your desk. There is no energy meter nagging you and nothing expires because you took a week off.
FREE, AND NOT SECRETLY A SHOP
No pay-to-win. No stat boosts for sale, no loot boxes, no ads between actions. Every item in the game is earned by playing it.
WHAT IS IN THERE
20 skills to 99, with mastery beyond that
400+ items, 200+ recipes
49 monsters, world bosses, party raids and more!
A player-run Auction House
Farming, expeditions, quests, achievements and a collection log
Global, trade and party chat, with an active community
The game is in active development and updates land most weeks, usually from something a player asked for in chat.

Basically it's an idle version of Runescape. Pretty good job so far.

PartyScape Chronicles is the kind of idle RPG that caught my attention because it actually makes the idea of a shared world feel important. Instead of just watching numbers go up in a menu, I can pick a skill, choose what I want to work on and let my character keep progressing even when I am away. I really liked how easy it is to dip into for a few minutes and then leave it running while I do something else. The skill system is easily one of my favorite parts. Woodcutting, mining, fishing, cooking, crafting and combat all connect to each other, so progression feels much more meaningful than simply increasing a single level. I enjoyed planning what I wanted to work toward because gathering resources can directly support another part of my character. That interconnected design gives the game a satisfying feeling of always having another useful goal. The combat is also more involved than I expected from an idle game. I can use melee, ranged or magic equipment and take on different monsters depending on how prepared I am. There are also Slayer tasks, boss fights and larger group activities, so the game does not completely abandon active gameplay. I liked having the option to check in and make decisions instead of leaving everything entirely to automation. The shared world is probably what makes PartyScape Chronicles stand out the most for me. Other players are actually occupying the same world, and I can see them training skills, fighting enemies and going about their own activities. The player driven market is another great idea because prices are shaped by the people actually playing instead of being controlled entirely by a fixed shop. Guilds, parties and social features give the idle progression a stronger sense of community too. My biggest issue is that the game can feel overwhelming when I first start playing. There are so many connected systems, resources and activities that it takes some time to understand what I should actually be working toward. The slower nature of idle progression will also not appeal to everyone, especially if I am looking for constant action or immediate rewards. I also think the presentation is fairly simple, although that is not necessarily a bad thing for this type of game. The pixel art has a classic feeling that suits the old school RPG structure, and the simple interface keeps the focus on progression. I liked that the game works in a browser and can also be played on a phone, because it makes checking my character and starting another activity extremely convenient. Overall, PartyScape Chronicles is a surprisingly deep idle MMORPG that does a great job of making progression feel connected to the wider world. I enjoyed the interconnected skills, flexible combat and especially the feeling that other players are genuinely part of the same world. It can be confusing at first and the slow progression will not suit everyone, but once I settle into the routine, there is a lot here to keep me coming back. Rating: 6.6/10

It's legit Runescape but in Melvor Idle style. But this one is online and interactable with players.
