About
From an uninhabited planet in space to an ecosystem full of life.
In Planetary Life you will be able to shape a planet in the purest Sandbox Simulation style, playing with its mountains, seas and even its climate, to create the perfect habitat to harbor life.
Control a planet with the multiple tools available. Let the tectonic plates shape the mountains and seas, modify the climate, the heat of the nucleus, the volcanic activity, the gases of the atmosphere, etc... until shaping the home of your creatures.
Add creatures and evolve them from simple organisms to intelligent beings. Design and expand them looking for the balance of a perfect ecosystem.
Help them or let them fight for survival on their own.
Create new life forms combining different types of cells. From single cells and multicellular life, to macroscopic creatures and plants.
Change core heat and volcanic activity to shape your planet terrain through volcanoes.
Manipulate rainfalls, cloud and surface albedo to change the climate.
Build ecosystems. Maintain the balance between fauna and flora. Do not let them break the harmony and avoid the extinction of species.
You can walk around and see from a first-person point of view your planet and your creations.
When your creatures reach sufficient intelligence they will organize themselves into tribes and later flourish into civilizations. Manage and help them in the battle for technology to conquer the planet.

Honestly, this game is not only a lot of fun, but there's a lot you can do with the life made in it. Sure, there's plenty I get frustrated with like, say, the whole "sometimes it works, other times it doesn't" luck with evolving plants into trees and all that but getting to test different forms of evolution and create life on different planets has been an amazing experience. Love the game and look forward to any and all updates it could receive in the future.

First, I made some life and let it evolve for a bit with a little help. Then, I made a huge predator. Now, anytime I try to introduce a new medium size species to the planet they all get eaten. 10/10 would ruin an ecosystem before it's even properly started again. (there's a tool to kill off a whole species in the game don't worry about it) For future updates I would like to see a LOT more data screens, like graphs of creatures by size, search and filter functions in the encyclopedia and links to a species page from a creature's status et cetera.

кайфую от этой игра все праработано асобено вид от первого лица просто кайф
should probably take the "cells to civilizations" part out of the game description because the civilization stage isn't in the game and probably won't be for a while longer. otherwise solid A-life game, it seems to me like a lot of people who are negatively reviewing on the basis of "everything dying suddenly" don't really understand you can't plop a handcrafted creature into an environment without thorough future planning. literally just evolution, if you make the perfect predator it'll flourish for a bit before eating itself to extinction
