pretty terrible game... players are super try hard, and AI is either impossible to play against or super easy to win... even with mods there is no balance

feels like a classic RTS and a really good one too
I like to stomp the ai whit the op modificator in the campaign
Planetary Annihilation: TITANS isn't the most robust RTS out there, sporting only a single faction. However, its unique qualities in having planetary maps, orbital fronts and, of course, annihilation of said planets, more than make it an interesting RTS to play, especially on a discount. The game's Galactic War campaign is my personal favourite part, being a roguelike deckbuilder of tech that you can use from mission to mission, ensuring that you don't play with just 'optimal build orders' to succeed. Tack on the "Galactic War Overhaul" mod (from the start, honestly; no reason to play without it) and it becomes wildly expansive. And finally, after nearly 11 years, they have added co-op out of nowhere to the Galactic War mode, compatible with the Overhaul mod and custom maps, and it is, to me at least, game changing. I already enjoyed dropping into the campaign on my own every once in a while, but now with up to 12-player co-op it is a great game to enjoy either casually or as a challenge with friends. It sports several options to customize how the co-op plays, from all players controlling their own armies or sharing one, sharing a pool of tech cards or getting their own and even the option to set the scaling manually based on players even if you are playing with more or less. I honestly highly recommend this game, especially on a sale, as it is now a great romp with friends, and even if you play solo I think the Galactic War campaign is fun enough on its own.
pretty chill, AI is busted
