I cannot recommend as I cannot play for more than 2 minutes without crashing. I have tried several work arounds yet it still will not work, I believe it may be caused by the Intel Arc however I am not entirely sure. I am quite disappointed as it seems quite fun.
This game is a proper successor to SupCom.

A majorly overlooked and underrated gem of RTS!

Kickstarted this game. Long-time Total Annihilation fan. Overall it's enjoyable. The mechanics and the programming are pristine. I've yet to have a crash. Integration with multiplayer, map & campaign editor, chat everything works. There's not a lot of buff and shine compared to other games but the raw enjoyment is there. The out-of-this-world mechanics are impressive.
This game, even after so many years, is a buggy mess. It crashes constantly due to some kind of driver incompatibility. It's the only game in my library that has this. It's garanteed every game I play. Just play supreme commander, it's what this game rips off in the first place.
BEST RTS EVER! Played it for years on another account, so ignore the small amount of hours, its more like 10,000 hrs.
this game is a very fun strategy game where you can blow up planets very fun
The game is too hard. If you want to be good, you simply have to have talent. No amount of hours invested into this game will improve your skill. I was originally interested in this game because of what it allowed you to do. Destroying entire landscapes to obliterating planetary bodies seemed like a really fun way to play the game. It ensures every game is different, so playability is huge. But the game isn't fun if you aren't good at RTS like this. I am patient, so I gave this game many chances, but I found it more frustrating than enjoyable for the most part. The modding community are keeping it fresh and exciting, but they usually just add new units when the base-game already has a headache-inducing system of what units can counter what. Multiplayer is supposed to be fun too, but in a team vs team match if you lose one teammate, your whole team is disadvantaged. If your 5 v 5 becomes a 4 v 5, it's safe to say there isn't much hope of victory. Not to mention there are several bugs throughout, like weird pathfinding for units, camera controls that are sometimes awkward when navigating between planets, a bad multiplayer matchmaking UI. I'll no doubt return to this game whenever I get the itch to play as awesome warbots hellbent on destruction, but it's just a phase. In the end, I always walk away feeling frustrated and defeated.
The AI is dumb, Galactic war is a mess. Disappointing overall
