Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Reviews
My first experience went like this... I want to play with no challenges but also not unlimited money. I want to build and solve park problems organically not be forced into scenarios or free money unlimited build. I finally found it in what's called challenge mode despite it not having any challenges like career mode. Already that over site should show you the care and foresight that went into this game... They cant even name game modes correctly... I went into challenge mode didnt even have enough money to start a park..... I literally built a circle path and place a carousel and i was broke.... I placed it wrong because you would think turning a building or placeable would be done thru hold right click and turning the mouse... nope its a separate keyboard shortcut that they dont tell you!!! I tried to move it to where I wanted but could only move the ride itself not the decoration that make up its vibe... So my first time was terrible to say the least I rage quit and said screw this!!! IGNORE FRONTIER THEY ARE TRASH!!!!!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Aug 11 → 5.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Even though I did not play it for long, I am refunding this game and recommend not buying it unless you enjoy a clunky building experience, and a bad path system. I watched Lets Game It Out and my experience wasn't near as good as his. The game also does not do a very good job at teaching you how to play or build! Do not recommend!

Built a coaster with a Puke score of 10!
Planet Coaster is a great theme park simulator. You get control over pretty much every aspect of your park. Managing the park can be fun and sometimes cumbersome and drive you mad. Overall being able to construct custom roller coasters is a great way to blow off some steam or create more rage depending on you. It's a beautifully crafted sim world with outstanding world design and sound effects. It's fun to explore but it may only keep your interest if you really like this genre. Otherwise it's a fantastic game.
8/10

Check out my curated list of games
turned 40 this year... divorce has been rough. house feels completely empty—just me, a folding chair, and the echoing silence. my son barely spoke to me for months. looked right through me. locked in his room, angry at the world, angry at the split. tried everything to reach him. nothing worked. bought planet coaster on a whim because he used to love theme parks when he was little. sat down together. built a completely broken, janky coaster that launched guests straight into a hot dog stall. he laughed. a real, loud, snorting laugh... first time i'd heard it in over a year. now it's our weekend ritual. we don't talk about the lawyers or the new apartment. we don't have to. we just spend five hours hyper-focusing on the lighting of a single fairytale bathroom or designing absolute death traps... honestly gave me my boy back. can't even express what that means. thank you to the developers... you saved more than just my weekends.
