Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Build windmills or enslave chickens to generate mechanical energy to power your machines and transmit it through cogs and belts.
Recycle materials, craft unique resources and upgrade your high friction cogs from wood to steel.
Build mechanical systems using:
Generators (windmill blades, chicken wheels, hand-cranks)
Various kind of cogs (one way, double cogs, switches)
Belts to connect cogs, build gear trains to increase torque or speed
Pipe conveyors to transport items
Circular saws and tracks to place themto cut trees automatically

Various machines like milling or crusher machines, table saw, block maker...

Planet Centauri's magitech allows you to design various electronic systems, from humble automated house lighting to calculators or even CPUs!
This is achieved through an unique 'pipe' system to transmit soul energy up to 9 bit information signal and a large number of components, including:
Generators harvesting soul energy from the environment
Crystalizers to condensate energy to generate even more energy
Teleporters
Battery systems to store energy
Lights, pixels, displays,
Sensors and different kind of inputs
Logical operators (not, and, or...)
Mathematical operators (full adder, modulo, div, comparators)
ACD, DAC, encoders, decoders, mux...
Memories (flipflop, latch, 8-bit registers, counters)
ROMs, using blocks placed in the world as a memory storage
Transistors

Here is actually the classic Game of Life cellular automaton implemented in magitech.

In Planet Centauri you won't be bothered by mandatory tutorials, linear progression or any forced main quest.
Explore anything in the order you want, as long as you are able to survive.

Discover unexplored dungeons full of traps. Maybe something unique and incredible will be found there.

With over 500 different type of blocks and decorative items, let your imagination run wild to build detailed or imposing structures.
Any block can be shaped into a multitude of different slopes, or colored using paint.

When a block is shaped, It is possible to combine it with another one.
By combining double blocks and paint, possibilities are endless.

In creative mode you have access to developer tools, commands, terraformation, infinite items...
Planet Centauri has a complex event system allowing you to create traps, spawn enemies and create complex mini games without coding.
Currently, more than 20 different type of events and triggers exists.
Event are like functions and perform a specific action. Triggers can emit different type of signals, and be connected to any other Event/Trigger:
Zone triggers: Coming / Leave / ViewEnter / ViewLeave / ComingZone / LeaveZone
Combat triggers: Spawn / KillMonsters / PlayerGetDamages / Challenge / Open
Misc triggers: Counter / Switch / Chrono / ChronoLocal / PreciseTimer / Dice / HourChanged
Event dispatching triggers: Hub / HubFilter / Dispatch / TimedDispatch
BlockPattern to detect shaped structures (useful to make puzzles)
DropItemsSouls
CreateBlocks / DestroyBlocks / CreateDecorations / DestroyDecorations / Indestructible
SpawnRope / SpawnTree / SpawnBall / SpawnLava
Unlock / GenerateItems / ObjectAttributes / TriggerAttribute / AddAttributes / DisableLight
SetPortal / WorldLocation
SpawnOverride to modify permanently (or not) the world spawn tables

Steam workshop is not supported, but the game can be extensively modified.
Any item in the game can be edited through text based configuration files in the PlanetCentauri/assets/moddable folder.
You can add blocks, decorations, or any visual element without knowing a programming language.
For more complex systems, like monsters or entities, the Lua programming language is used (like in Factorio, Hades, Don't Starve, Roblox, and a lot of games).
The current limitation is the lack of a mod manager. This leads to potential problems and collisions between entries, and you have to distribute your mods manually.

Can't help but compare this to terraria although this does a lot of things that separates it far from terraria. There are vastly different variants of the same enemy which adds a lot of chaos to keep you on your toes. The difference between a divine enemy and a regular is night and day. Killing or capturing them offers great rewards too. The mechanic gear system is very interesting however I wish there was more we could do with it. Autofarms aren't entirely self automated which I appreciate since my take on autofarming is there should be some level of player input so the game doesn't feel like it can play itself. Being able to capture enemies, train them, breed them, give them skills, and so many being so different from each other makes for a pretty cool monster collector. Armor sets aren't just stat buffs but skills integrated into sets. For example, the miner armor gives you a throwable exploding pickaxe that nukes walls and enemies short range. The iron set gives you a giant spike ball that can be summoned and then launched with its hammer skill to smash enemies in a row. Armor sets having such diverse identities adds a lot of useful variety. In terraria you're replacing armor sets constantly as you progress but here I feel the different armor sets are always useful for different situations. There needs to be a faster way to swap them though. Weapon enchanting/relics is very cool. Gear is leveled as it's used and can be reforged which gives new life to a lot of gear. The cooking system is absolutely ridiculous with a ton of foods and so many crops to farm. There are crafting chains for food and refinement for some items. Animal taming is deadly but a lot of fun engaging with. I haven't played a game before where I got killed by a cow this many times while trying to kite it to a taming pen. It's a fast charging mount though which is both funny and legit useful. WAR.COW. There is a character progression skill system and combos tied to it if you choose to use the combos, for example there is a rising screw attack right out of metroid in this. The sword flurry attack that sends you flying is awesome too. Ground slams, uppercuts etc. The magic crafting is pretty ridiculous too. This easily has the deepest magic smithing system i've ever saw in a game. Want a fireball? nice. Want a fireball that travels at mach 10, hits a surface, splits into some crazy exploding flower pattern fireball that splits into a hundred directions while chain exploding as it hits more surfaces and enemies? faster? bigger? MORE fireball explosion chains? crazy stuff and that's just fireball, there are so many other magics you can craft with to make your magic YOUR magic. I'm having a lot of fun with this.

Starbound done right A fair alternative to Terraria for those leaning more towards adventure and exploration
There is a good game here hidden under a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Don't bother if you want to try with controller Only 5% of people get the achievement for crafting a full set of armor, which is a major red flag for the tutorial. There's a lot of indepth systems that seems so interesting, but they're not explained well enough to dive into (I.e. spell crafting) And the game is too niche to just look up a YouTube video for. When this game gets updated again with tutorial polish and controller support, I'll be more than happy to change my review
Good game specially if you like terraria. It can be quite confusing as it has many layers and progression it not clear, to add to this, there is basically no updated information online. Would love if it would keep receiving updates, but as per what I found doesn't seem like the game will receive any more. I bought it at 50% off, but it does deserve the full price tag.
yea bad
👍🏻
