Ne wat tolles Spiel!
These developers have some real design chops that deserve to be commended. Great balance of combat, puzzles, and platforming that showcase the yoyo's unique abilities very well. Bossfights are fun and challenging without being frustrating. The art style is not my usual cup of tea but the characters have a distinct personality and charm that eventually drew me in. The UI is very polished. The story is not bad but mostly acts as a serviceable excuse to send you out on an adventure to retrieve the four plot coupons in the corners of the map. Gameplay is the real focus here and to that end, Pipistrello easily earns my recommendation.

Great game if you like Mina the Hollower or the older Zelda games you will probably love this the yoyo mechanics are sick and the puzzles are cool
Perfeito, incrivel, lindo
A Zelda-ish, Metroidvania-ish game with a huge emphasis on movement (and the experience of playing a GBA game). You should definitely play it if that sounds good! I loved it enough to 100% it *and* get all the achievements. It's kind of a shame that I've rarely seen people talk about this, and when they do it's usually to say you should play it if you liked Mina the Hollower. That's true, but Pipistrello deserves better than to ride Mina's coattails, especially having come out a year *earlier* almost to the day.
an absolute blast all the way. perfect on steam deck.
I should love this game, and maybe that’s why I’m as disappointed as I am. On paper this checks all the boxes. In reality..it feels like a mess, there are moments of really clever gameplay, and interesting ways to use the yoyo, but they’re overshadowed by sloppy overworld design, a map with icons and no key telling you what anything means, and just plain terrible combat mechanics. And I’m not interested in trudging through any further to see if it “gets better”
Cool game, what stood out to me is how nice the difficulty is for both puzzles and combat. Difficult enough to not bore, and easy enough to not be frustrating. Pleasant 25hrs, for 100%
